An upscale neighborhood restaurant serving wonderfully fresh(!) & tasty meals. A delight for breakfast with an outdoor patio to enjoy the fall weather. Just about something for every budget. And the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome too.
Asked Bixby what the best sandwich place in Bakersfield was. Two came up and they were right next to each other. Choose Corner Bakery because of the seating but I'll return because of the deliciously fresh food, great service and the generous portions. Found out it was a chain restaurant so I'll look for others when I'm traveling. Too bad they don't have one on the central coast 😣
It's good but I wouldn't order the entree pasta again. It came with obviously the same slices of chicken they use on sandwiches and I don't know what happened with the garlic bread but it had no flavor but soggy except two bites of grainy garlic powder. I don't mind the powder but it was uneven and I question what was spread on it. Service was great. So was the coffee and the bite I tried of my BF's sandwich was good too. I just wouldn't pay $8 for...
