Denny's in Bakersfield

“On Christmas Eve my family and I weren’t having such a great day being that we just moved to California, so I decided to treat my family with dinner and choose dennys as we arrived we got greeted and didn’t wait long to be seated ,but unfortunately everything changed once seated our server jasmine came and was very rude took our drink orders with so much attitude and made my family and I feel unwelcome after bringing our drinks my wife’s coffee was cold and my daughter drink was wrong so I spoke to the lady that was walking right by us and asked if she would mind serving us instead because we no longer wanted jasmine service , she immediately apologized and said that although she would love too it wasn’t her call but that she would go and get the right person to help fix the situation a couple minutes later the manager came out and I spoke to her unfortunately even after I asked to be served by someone else jasmine still brought out our food along with another coworker who by the way was great the server I had spoke to and requested came back with fresh coffee and the right drink for my daughter after all food was great so on Christmas Day we decided to give it another try and our hostess tall red hair sorry didn’t get her name was friendly and then our server came and greeted us and surprise it was the same lady that fixed our wrong order the night before Ade my family was happy she did a amazing job coffee was great food was great and atmosphere was great thank you so much ade and the cooks

“Our host Diego was lively and gave great service! Remembered our names and checked on us a few times throughout our meal. He had great knowledge of the menu and was an all around pleasure to be around!

From the moment she greeted me with a genuine smile and that warm “Hey sweetie, what can I get started for you?” energy, I knew it was going to be good. She was attentive without hovering, kept my coffee topped off like a pro, and had this effortless way of making everyone at the table feel like regulars even if it was their first time. When my French toast Slam came out lightning-fast and cooked perfectly, she checked in just long enough to make sure everything was right and cracked a little joke that had me laughing with my mouth full of eggs.
Cecilia is the kind of server who remembers your order, anticipates what you need before you ask, and somehow makes a 24-hour diner feel like you’re eating at a friend’s kitchen table. She’s funny, kind, and clearly loves what she does – it shows in every little thing.

“Was seated right away when we came in. Our server, Jessica G, was very courteous and helpful on any questions we had about the menu. She made sure our cups were always filled and checked in on us multiple times to see if we needed anything.“

“Went with my husband and son on Tuesday night around 8:30 pm. We were welcomed and seated by a friendly waiter. We all ordered and enjoyed breakfast for dinner. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because my eggs were runny even though I ordered them over medium. The waiter gave excellent service even though he was also the cashier.“
