What I like is kids eat free ,and we git treated very well by our server. The only thing was our food it was so salty. My daughter had chicken stripe, they were so salty. I had boneless chicken wings they were salty too I couldn't eat them.

Came into this Denny’s in Bakersfield for dinner, and wow… what a disappointment. I ordered the mac and cheese with burnt ends and onion rings, and the portion size was a straight-up joke. I finished the whole thing in about five bites, and the burnt ends were mostly fat—basically beef-flavored disappointment.
My buddy ordered the Cobb salad, and his chicken was so salty it could’ve seasoned another salad.
Denny’s used to be decent, but the last few times I’ve eaten here, it’s been a major thumbs down. At this point, it’s barely hanging on as a breakfast spot

Worst service ever, took forever for anyone to even come to the table, had to ask for utensils, $4 for a cup of coffee that was never refilled, had to wait then ask for our bill so we could leave. Server Shonda acted like we were bothering her. We work in the area. Never walking in here again.

As soon as we my girlfriend and I walked through the door , we were greeted by the worst smell of weed I have ever smelled in my life. We then had our orders taken , and there is only us and 2 other people in here. We gave our order and then 15 min go by and he comes back and says he forgot what we ordered since he didnt write it down and we had to wait even longer. By far the worst Denny's in town I have been to. Do NOT recommend

We stopped by for dinner on 11/1/25. We are not loyal to the area or familiar so we went with what we know Denny's. The food was good although they burnt our wings twice but the true star was Shonda our server! She was not only our server, she was bussing tables, bringing out orders and ringing people up. She did it all with no help and with the best attitude. She was so friendly, so attentive and just so welcoming. She took pride in her work and was just so kind! I cannot say enough good things about her. She made our experience there exceptional. Thank you Shonda you are amazing !!

Had the Ultimate Omelet for dinner. It had bell peppers, mushrooms, sausage, cheese and bacon in/on the eggs. I was astonished how good it was! Not the way I usually feel when I leave Denny's. Good job!
