this place is great i really wish they had another location in the southwest of bakersfield because they need more recognition , everything is always fresh the owners are nice , their sausage roll croissant is bomb and their donuts are always so fresh and soft ??

Hands down, one of the best Apple Fritters I've had. Might even be the BEST! Perfect balance of fluffy and crispiness. Omg. So good. I get excited just thinking about it. Had to limit myself to a maximum of one a week after making two trips in one week. And I typically don't eat donuts, but I'm hooked!

Classic donut shop with amazing donuts and friendly staff. I always see this place busy on my way to work downtown every morning and decided to finally see what all the fuss was about. The donuts are soft and tasty, and the vibe of the store is perfect. Old school menu board, cappuccino drinks, fountain sodas, and plenty of donuts and fresh hot coffee. Walking in reminds me of being a kid again and going to the donut shop with my dad every weekend. Not to mention EXTREMELY fair prices. Love this place!!!

Donut star has ruined donuts anywhere on Earth for me. I've been to many places around California and Bakersfieldnl trying to find a place to compare and nothing can. 11/10 every time, it's like Krispy Kreme and fosters donuts had a baby. The head pastry chef - if I can call him that, Wyatt I believe. Makes 2 batches of donuts fresh a day. When you go in you can expect sugary-clouds from heaven. They known what they're doing to a T. With cake donuts you can expect a crispy outside and dense moist inside. They never skimp on the glaze either. The guys a true artist. The little Asian girl in the front is also always so nice and respectful. This business is a true hidden gem in Bakersfield and deserves to be recognized.

Since I moved to Oildale I've been coming here the young lady in the front is so nice and sweet, the baker too all saying hi or good morning, the donuts are so good! My bf likes the Maple Bacon my kids like the donut holes and I am classic I like the glazed or sugar twist and still never disappoints. It's always clean when I walk in, never seen it dirty or them cleaning mid shift just picking up some here and there the usual. The young lady in the front is fast and sweet, super helpful when trying to decide on what you need left when filling a dozen who knew it could be so hard.

These independent donut shops have become rare. Grocery bakeries have won over. Donuts shops are much better and need support to survive. Without that they, like so many other bakeries will go away.
