Food was both good and beautifully presented. But it paled in comparison to the service by GiGi. She is the best reason to go!!!!

The absolute best Taco truck. Ive been coming here for years as a truck driver. Retired 3 yrs ago. Stopped on a road trip through California. Still just as great as I remember all the way around.

Food is way too greasy, good if you want a heart attack. Burritos are way too small for the price. 3 burritos for $40.25 felt like a ripoff when I saw the how small they were.

For over 15 years, this taco truck has been a cornerstone of Bakersfield's vibrant street food scene, earning a reputation as one of Southern California's best-kept secrets. Renowned for its authentic flavors, the truck once set the gold standard with its intensely flavorful meats, impeccably fresh produce, and genuine, house-made tortillas. It was more than just a meal; it was an experience.
However, time brings change, and not always for the better. While understanding the evolution of businesses, recent visits reveal a shift in quality. The once-stellar ingredients now seem replaced with cheaper alternatives, and the culinary craftsmanship has waned. Tasting the Chorizo, Carnitas, and Pastor tacos, it's evident that the magic has faded, with flavors that, disappointingly, fall short of those found in other states. The tamales, once eagerly anticipated, suffered from dryness and an excess of fatty meat, further dimming the truck's once-bright culinary star.
Despite these culinary setbacks, the truck maintains an impressive setup, thoughtfully designed for customer comfort. If you're seeking a decent taco experience, this spot still delivers a good, albeit not exceptional, meal. While the flavors may not reach the heights of its glory days, the truck remains a testament to Bakersfield's Westside vibe, staffed by dedicated workers. This review is penned with honesty, aiming to inform that while the truck is still good, it no longer embodies the legendary status it once held.

Came across this place on a cross country road trip in 2020. Best tacos I had ever had. Made sure to go there again on another road trip in 2024. Was again the best tacos ever. This place is amazing. Food was made to order. Staff very friendly. Will definitely go back again if I am in the area.

Food was good service not so much had trouble communicating I think either way that put that chili stuff the fruit I ordered when my friend said specifically to put it on the side they give us another fruit cup but they were out of the fuit we wanted and it was hot thay have misters and fans in shade it was still pretty hot though
It used to be my hot spot 5 star but now i reduced my visits and currently i rate it 3 star. food quality issues & less quantity somewhere not justified in term of price hikes in menu. Needs to improve as per my 7 year experience with them.
Wow!!! Delicious food clean atmosphere!! Always concerned about Clean cooks n truck.
Everyone in truck was friendly, clean in appearance just like the surroundings. I'm extremely picky about where I eat and who is cooking and serving. This place deserves 5 stars and more just for cleanliness. And no upset stomach after, that's always a plus.
Thank you El Buen..

Such a great spot - we stop here every time we are driving by this area - very good food, nice shaded outdoor area, friendly lady and very good prices! I had fish tacos and pescado ceviche and enjoyed both
Traveling back from college found this gem in the middle of nowhere. SOOOO delicious!! amazing flavors! everyone try this place! 🌮🌮🌯🌯💃💃
Quality went down significantly. As a trucker this used to be my go to spot for Mexican. Today. I ordered a supreme asada burrito and they made it a regular. When I went back to show, they said they can only give $2.50 back for the supreme part. Sorry ass burrito for $14 dollars. Great customer service! Will be telling all my trucker friends to stop coming here.

They gave us the wrong tacos and would not exchange them. We will not be going back. If I want quality, I go to Cunados on Chester and
