I used to love this El Pollo Loco but have had a very bad experience with them today regarding an online order. My husband went to pick up the order and for some reason the store didn't have record of it even though we had the app saying it was received. One of the employees was asking what the name on the order was and my husband had said my name (Lacey) and the employee said "did you mean crazy?" Like he was crazy or something for trying to pick up an order that wasn't there. Ridiculous. Won't be returning after the way we were treated. Didn't receive the order either even though I was still charged.

I recently ordered three double chicken tostada bowls from El Pollo Loco, and I was very disappointed. The chicken was extremely dry and cold, and it seemed like only half a chicken breast was used per bowl. To top it off, there was barely a tablespoon of rice and beans in each bowl, with most of it filled with excessive lettuce. The overall quality and portion size were poor, and I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon.

Messed up on our order and we had to drive all the way to the store and pick up the food they forgot to put in the bag and then argued with us when we asked for them to provide us with complimentary churros. It was either Alma or Jocelyn one of the managers at the Gosford location. Horrible service management.

Ordered chicken bowls. The whole bowl was rice with about a tablespoon of the rest of the items including the chicken. I was shocked. All bowls were the same. They did this the last time I was here so, needless to say, I will not return. Don't call it a chicken bowl with no visable chicken.

First time to eat at this location. I haven't had Pollo Loco in a really long time. We got the 8 piece family meal. The food tasted great, it was still nice and hot when we got home. We were helped my Claudia. She was great. She was friendly and got our food to use very quickly. Would definitely visit this location again.
