El Portal has been an old favorite for many both locations. Very Good food served hot, Fair prices, strong margaritas. Chips and salsa are fresh and tasty. Service is very good and friendly.

Under New Management. Service was terrible. Took 45 minutes to get luke warm food. New owners didn't change the menu from previous owners. We didn't get what we ordered. When we asked for the Bacon Wrapped shrimp they brought us a bowl of shrimp in some sort of sauce. Food Tasted more like a TV dinner than freshly prepared food. There seemed to be a real language barrier. Needless to say we won't be going back there.

It's under new management on Ming. My family and I had to wait 45 minutes to get food. At this point many customers began to leave due to the poor service. They served us barely warm food and they didn't serve us what we ordered. We usually get the Flor del Mar and it always comes with bacon wrapped shrimp. So we asked for bacon wrapped shrimp after they gave us the wrong order and we waited another 20 minutes to bring that. When that arrived it was just shrimp in a bowl, not
