Super cute and cozy salvadorenean restaurant, it is pretty small just fyi, but take it to go it’ll be worth it. Feels homey and authentic. We stopped here in our way to LA and it did not disappoint. Super fresh taste and tastes like being back in Central America. The owner was really sweet too. Anyway, the food was incredible and I would totally come back if I’m ever in the area again.

We found this gem along our road trip route and we’re so glad we did! The food was incredible, as well as the service. We ordered the fried plantains that came with beans and crema and a couple of the bean & cheese and pork & cheese pupusas. There’s an authentic, home-made vibe. We will definitely be back!

Don’t judge this place from the outside! It’s very small but the food is delicious. All your typical Salvadorian foods with great taste. Some of the best pupusas I’ve had in Bakersfield. Must try if you’re looking for platos tipicos.
