First off when did fast food places start charging gratuity,second they need to stop selling that catfish,it's not good,those skinny little fries are over seasoned and a waste of time,and the wings were dry and that sauce was also over seasoned. Last at least put someone behind the counter that will greet the customers. This place is a no go for me.

I walked in yesterday to get my usual 'lemon-pepper wings with fries' combo, and was pleasantly surprised to see that fried catfish had been added to the menu. WHAT!?! After deliberating for all of .2 seconds I decided to try them out. I’m pretty hard on my catfish critique because very few places do it well. They have catfish on the menu, but it’s quick fast-food catfish and not that good at all. I had no expectations when I tried the catfish here, I just wanted to see what it was like. If it was good, I’ll come back. If it wasn’t I would just chalk it up to the typical bland fried catfish you would expect in Bakersfield. I’m happy to say that this catfish was pretty darn good. Like surprisingly good. Seasoned well, crispy, and since they make all their food to order, nice and hot. I will give this place a second shot in the very near future to make sure my words ring true. But based on their past performance with my lemon-pepper wings, I have no doubt it will be just as good the second go round. Edit: January 27, 2023 Went in yesterday (January 26th) and saw that they added $2.50 to the fish combo if you choose catfish option. That’s a 25% increase. I know prices have gone up everywhere, but is catfish really that much more expensive? Disappointing because this was my new favorite catfish spot. I don’t play to stop eating here, but adding $2.50 to the cost of combo will curtail HOW many times (per week) I’ll eat here.
