I went to treat myself to a jalapeño and cheese empanada. There was no jalapeños or cheese in it. It was dried out, probably left over from the day before and they re-fried it spent almost $5 dollars on it very disappointed. Would not recommend they seem to mess up, orders a lot there
Always great food and super service at a reasonable price
Good customer service and good food
Very good food and very quick service it came out in at least 4 minutes
I tried Fresco first time, trust me the most pathetic Mexican I ever had in my life . Tasteless! Even green fried chilli for which they. Barged me $1.20 was tasteless (not chili). Rest I ordered breakfast burrito (so salt, no chilli and just bland taste) and pork taco (bitter in taste). I asked for easy on beans in burrito but they didn’t put any
Great food and usually great service. I eat here at least once a week. I recommend the signature burrito for anyone who wants to enjoy the best of the best, carefully joined together in a giant tortilla.
Carne asada burritos are good but the menudo not so good. All meat no hominy, chewy like rubber, I was disappointed, I'll never order menudo there again.

Fresco has always been a trusted brand, with a location on California Ave that is worth the wait at.. but this location has never delivered.
Flavors, textures, temperatures, and portions are always off and because of that, everything on the menu feels over priced.
I’m not very picky, but when a Mexican establishment can’t even get a bean burrito correctly cooked and wrapped.. expectations become very low.
After giving them several tries, I now avoid them and either travel to their other location, cook myself, or get Chinese.

Finally stopped by Fresco Mexican Grill. It will not be the last time. Even though I was ordering take-out I wanted to go inside so I could take my time placing an order. I ordered some nachos and a couple chicken tacos and was happy with the quality of both. So many nachos I could not eat them all. I picked up a menu and really liked the variety of offerings. You can't go wrong driving thru or going inside so you can better appreciate all they have to offer. Are we looking at a Michelin Guide 5 Star? Not quite. Red Pepper is still #1 IMO but this is a 5 Star in the Mexican drive thru fast food category.

Great place to eat if you like old nasty tasting chicken and bad tortillas. Bakersfield finest.

food was mid the quality has really gone down lately, this used to be my favorite spot. the prices also increased. portions are the same and the food isn’t as good so idk how the price gouging is justified.

Recent price increases, subpar food, and poor quality management makes this a hard place to want to eat at again. Used to be my favorite place to eat but has gone down hill recently. The horchata was bland and the new stuffed potato balls were horrible. They didnt put down anything on the styrofoam so it burned into the potato balls. My suggestion: lower prices, pay and train your workers/management better.
