In comparison to Sea Breeze fish market of yesteryear, it's a nice alternative. However, the menu selections are smaller. No fried oysters or slaw. They ran out of cod on my visit at 11AMish. Catfish was being offered as an alternative. The batter wasn't what I expected in terms of look or texture, but the taste was good.

Garrison’s doesn’t even list their phone number for Hageman location. You have to call Panama location to get it. The cod is the best fish in town but on two occasions they have run out at the Hageman location. That is just poor planning. Lastly. this place is usually pretty good, this time i waited for 40 minutes to get two catfish lunches seriously four pieces of fish and fries, today is the 24th of august 5:30 pm, hopefully the owner sees this and finds better workers, the girl with green hair should not be a cook she has no idea what shes doing smh. i will try again but if service is like this i wont be back. its hot in this place feels like no ac, the lady at the counter is rude, this place has definitely went down hill, this used to be the best in town and by far is the worst now, horrible customer service, no ac, and 40 min wait time for fries and four pieces of catfish, owner fox this problem before you get put out of business.

Ok so I love the food at this place and have recommended it to many people. However today I had lunch there and I needed hot sauce some vinegar and ketchup. The young lady working the counter asked if I wanted to trade My other sauces tarter and cocktail. I said no I want them. She then tells me they charge for the condiments not to mention I gave a 15% tip for her doing nothing! I will not be going back so sad! I really like supporting local business but not with this type of non service!

Garrison's has great, tasting fish but the only reason that I give them four stars instead of five is that you can't place a call in order over the phone unless you use a credit card . Which is a, inconvenience because I don't give my credit card information to miscellaneous places to people that I don't know or can't see. I would think, that if you have that customer's name and phone number that should be good enough. And if that, customer doesn't pick up their order than they should be blacklisted from making call in orders. I mean customer, service is still is still a priority right?

Man, we were really disappointed today. We walked in and we're blown over by how hot it was in there. When I asked if the ac was broken, nope the owner just insists on keeping it at a certain temp. It must have been 85 degrees in there. Those poor workers! I ordered a catfish and shrimp combo. Everything was super hot and breading was great. The catfish was super mushy inside so I don't know if this is a quality or cooking issue. The shrimp was a bit fishy which tells me it was a little old. Then they gave us hot, packaged tartar sauce. I could have sworn when they first opened it was house made. It should have been chilled but it wouldn't have helped much. They must have listened to the reviews about bland cold fries because they dumped a truckload of season salt on our fries, but no complaints about that. My boyfriend got the cod and said it was super bland. Hush puppies were great but not good enough to bring us back.

It's cool, I got the Cod with shrimp, Cod needed more flavor, the shrimp needed more flavor too but it wasn't bad. Someone I went with ordered the Catfish, it was good. Overall 3 1/2 would go again for the catfish and fries, if I was on this side of town...I wouldn't go out of my way.

Catfish is BOMB! Perfect seasoning and fresh. Perfect amount of batter. Shrimp is BOMB! Also lightly battered to perfection. Come here if you like sea food. Very clean and chill sea theme. I will definitely come back frequently!
