This place is the best awesome food and great staff been coming here for years and the quality has never changed great portions great flavor you definitely get your money's worth
The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the service was decent. Employees were nice. I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito ($12), and it was the absolute worst breakfast burrito. I took about 3 bites and threw the rest out. It was more potatoe than anything. And the potatoe felt squishy. All 3 large bites I took tasted like bland, squishy, potatoe. I personally won't be visiting this restaurant for breakfast again.

I highly recommend the Golden Ox if you’re in Bakersfield! I tried the California Burger, and it was absolutely amazing—one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Great flavors, fresh ingredients, and cooked perfectly. This spot is a must-try!
