I've only been here twice. I've tasted the tamales, but nothing special. On the other hand, the tacos dorados de birria hands down and I dont eat to much red meat so it says alot. My father in law talks highly of the birria, and the fresh HANDMADE corn tortillas 🙌🙌🙌

I had only been once before this visit and I had a normal experience nothing that stood out. I ordered the machaca with egg plate and this is what I was served which looked and tasted more like birria. We also ordered the chapurrado and it was whiter than me and had the consistency of atole instead. I ate my food because there was nothing wrong with it cooked wise. You can just clearly tell it’s their birria meat. I probably won’t be going back here.

Great spot to enjoy any kind of meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a great price. Most authentic Mexican style food in Bakersfield. I always make sure to stop by anytime I pass by.
