22$ for a big selection of a bunch of curry and other sides. I got to try a bunch of different dishes I've never had before and I loved it. Would definitely go back again. The naan is made to order and very fresh.

I came to this location because I heard the food was good . But I was disappointed at the service . The short lady with the long braid working there was so mean. Me and my husband saw that she was looking at us when we tried to get her attention and she ignored us completely 3 times . She would come to check the tables near us but never to us . The entire time we were there we never got a refill of water and I had to get up twice away from my food because I needed something from the server . When you go to a restaurant they should ask if you need anything at least once . Horrible service . Why do they have employees if they don’t want to their role .

Terrible food and service. The curries are frozen, reheated, and loaded with food coloring. The lamb rogan josh was bland, and when we complained, they just added more salt and served it back. The chicken samosa was stale, and the food overall tasted old and reheated. Service was just as bad—we had to ask multiple times for water refills. Avoid this place at all costs!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was beyond disappointing. From the very first bite, it was clear that the food was not fresh. They serve frozen curries with artificial food coloring, heat them up, and pass them off as authentic dishes. The lamb rogan josh was completely tasteless—bland, watery, and lacking any depth of flavor. When we politely mentioned this to the staff, instead of addressing the issue properly, they simply reheated the same dish with extra salt and brought it back. This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that claims to serve quality Indian cuisine.

The chicken samosa was equally bad—stale, dry, and flavorless, as if it had been sitting in a freezer for days before being reheated. The fish pakora was the only thing that was somewhat edible, but even that was nothing special. Given how poorly the other dishes were handled, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was also pre-made and frozen.

On top of that, the service was indifferent at best. We had to repeatedly ask for water refills, as the staff seemed completely uninterested in making sure customers were comfortable. There was no warmth, no effort, and certainly no concern for the quality of food being served.

This place is a complete letdown. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful Indian food, do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant at all costs. There are plenty of better options out there where your money will be well spent. Do not waste your time or appetite here!

I do’t know why people are giving them 5 star I could gave them zero star if I can. I when there eat with my family food was disgusting . They do’t even bring our proper food. They forgot our chat papri. Not going back for this place for sure.

We just went there today, we thought eat buffet in there but there are cockroaches over the serving spoons, may be in food as well. Then we decided to go with order seprately, they said they will charges us buffet price, however at the end they charge same as shown in menu. Cannot trust them again.

Mediocre food. Chole Bhature was great.

I m a regular customer at the Valley Plaza location they not only have good quality authentic Indian food at a fair price but the staff posses excellent customer service skills and etiquettes making it a fine dine in experience even tough its a mall location. They have the best Indian food in this town the same way i have the best Pizza in Bakersfield ( that comes with 100% money back guarantee obviously ).

Today is my brother’s birthday we came in the restaurant heart of india we order chana masala and butter chicken both the dishes are soo delicious and the service is too good . It makes our day more special. I really appreciate to the all staff of heart of india.

Cockroaches were crawling around our table! I really wish that I wouldn't have come here for my birthday dinner! We first noticed a cockroach shortly after our food arrived as it went down the wall by my head and almost into my baby's diaper bag. We informed the waitress and asked for the bill. After a long wait during which a cockroach crawled up our booth, we went up to the front to ask for the bill and told a man at the front who seemed to be the owner that there were cockroaches at our table. He said, "We sprayed for bugs yesterday," and didn't apologize or do anything to make it right. We were charged full price for the meal despite only having a few bites due to the unsanitary state of the restaurant. I got a stomachache from the food, which has never happened to me before when eating Indian food. This place was also the only Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at where I didn't think the food was good. This was the most disappointing restaurant experience I've ever had :(
