What a delight, to get off of I-5 early on a cold morning, and to find this warm, clean, friendly IHOP! Honestly, this is the cleanest and best quality IHOP I’ve been in. The spinach mushroom omelet in particular was lovely. Plus the service was great; they were so kind to our 2- and 5-year-old.

So my dad and I have been searching for months for the perfect Hollandaise sauce… going to fancy French restaurants for brunch… everywhere! Anyway, I pulled into this ihop off the 5 near Bakersfield to take a zoom call and do some work and found it! Totally unexpected, I sheepishly admit. (Btw, they also have power outlets near the tables for computers and phones.) Ramiro’s sauce is creamy and extra tart, just a drop lemonier than others. Excellent!! Definitely worth a stop even if you don’t have to charge your car! (And almost makes up for the fact that ihop discontinued cheese blintzes.) Thanks Ramiro!

One of the best ihops I've been to. Coming from San Diego, to San Francisco, this ihop's food was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The service was also great. Kind staff and waiters. If you're on a road trip going north or south, I'd recommend you stop at this place.

I stopped at this IHOP off the 5 freeway—seemingly in the middle of nowhere—and I have to say, it’s one of the nicest and cleanest IHOP locations I’ve ever visited. The restaurant itself is very well kept and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it stand out. I was seated right away, and my order was taken promptly. The food came out quickly and in perfect timing. To my surprise, the quality exceeded my expectations. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly—truly impressive compared to typical cuts you might expect at a diner. My eggs were done over-easy exactly as requested, which was a pleasant detail I appreciated. If I had one small suggestion, it would be for the hash browns to be cooked a little crispier—but that’s simply my personal preference, and since I didn’t request it upfront, I can’t hold that against them. Overall, this IHOP really deserves recognition. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this experience was exceptional. If you’re traveling along the 5 freeway and looking for a great meal, I highly recommend stopping here. You won’t be disappointed!
