Took my family to the Spot Irish Whisky tasting and had an amazing time. Not only is everyone there friendly and helpful, but they treat you like you are special. Plus the Pizza is awesome!! I recommend the Honey drizzle pizza. Can't remember the name, but it was delicious.

I finally tried Tommy's Pizza. I went with the Pepperoni and it was worth the wait. I was a chicken and didn't go with the Fresno Peppers but it was still extremely delicious. I called the order in and it was ready within my 20 minute drive there. Everyone there was very nice and courteous.

We went there expecting some nice wines but this one tap were ok but expensive. More than making a day of it in Paso. We also got the pizza from Tony's which I was looking forward to. Was disappointed. The topping was really burnt and I took one look at least 1/3 of it all black and told the guy that brought it up our table " wow! It's really burnt" ! But he left it and walked off. It seemed like no one cared that they were serving a burnt pizza. My husband and I ate a little bit and put the rest in the box to take home. We figured we might be able to try salvaging it by removing the burnt pieces and adding some more cheese. But I was very disappointed in it as was my husband. If this is the way they prefer to cook it then I guess they've done nothing wrong. However, it's not the way I would prefer it. The whole experience was not a great one. Having to take a card back up to the front and having a certain amount of money loaded on it just so I could get the wine out of the wine. Dispensing machine was a little confusing. One of the girls just seemed OK to be a little perturbed of having to explain the process to us. It's definitely not customer friendly. But if you are working nearby and you want an expensive drink or expensive glass of wine, then I guess this is your place.

I really like Imbibe but constantly have mixed emotions about this place. Sometimes service is great and sometimes you're overlooked because of regulars. Just make sure you have a lot of time to wait for a drink if you're doing cocktails and you'll be served eventually. Wine and beer selection is great!

Great selection of local beers and a large selection of wines. Tommy’s Pizza is also located here so that you can have a glass of wine and a great slice of pizza. I would suggest it for work events, if you want to buy local beers, or if you just want to hang out with small groups.

Imbibe is a hidden gem. It looks like a store but it is so much more! They have a HUGE selection of liquor, wine and beer. Once you have selected your rink of choice they will simply charge a corking fee of $5 dollars so you can sit and enjoy. The place has a very cute entrance end everything is place neatly so it appealing to the eye. Tony's pizza is also located inside so you can have some delicious pizza too! Imbibe even offers a self served wine bar whenever you like so amazing! I was very excited when I was informed that they hot amazing events right in the heart of Bakersfield. This week they have a whiskey tasting that includes expensive whiskey bottles like $400 bucks! Totally getting that bag for your buck!

Great service and selection. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. It's always refreshing when you go somewhere and people ask if you need help or make suggestions. Highly recommend if you're looking for good wine, beer or spirits.

Such an incredible find right here in downtown Bakersfield. And for us lovers of wine, spirits, beer, and food . . . IW&SM is a homerun in all areas. Thank you Halli for the grand tour and wonderful hospitality. We explored the many wine and craft beer choices, and settled in to our incredibly delicious Bianca Special Pizza and fresh salad, and paired them nicely with glasses of their on-tap red wines. Another highlight was having live music playing while we wined and dined. Also had Hallie put together her favorites for their Mix or Match 6 Wine Bottles for $60.00 special, and appreciate her attention to detail. Thanks to Halli and all the helpful IW&SM staff. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Imbibe is a place that has a decent atmosphere inside and a pretty good beer selection. The pizza here is also very good. Hence why it's not a 1 star. I've been here a couple times now. However, the customer service here lacks and hence my review. I called them recently to see if they had a certain type of beer in stock because I didn't want to drive across town only to not have what I was looking for. A person who identified himself as "Jared" answered the phone and said no they don't carry that beer. Then I asked if he can check to see what flavors of that beer company they had available and he said they have a few and that I would need to come in to check. I tried to explain I live across town and if he can go look and tell me. It would take him maybe all of 2-3 mins to simply walk to their beer section and see which flavors they had for this particular beer brand. He told me "No I'm too busy, you would just have to come here and check it out if you want it". I hung up and of course I'm never going here again. We actually planned to hold a holiday gathering from my work at this place and now I'm coordinating to find a difference place because it's obvious they don't want more business, their already too "busy" with what they have. There are other good pizza places in Bakersfield (Flames Pizza being one) and other good craft beer places here as well (Off the Rails being one) that I would recommend instead. I'm pretty sure this same Jared is the one that I once asked to go check in the back if they had another beer in stock when I was actually inside the store. And he refused and said no without even looking at what beer it is. I asked another employee Myles the same thing and he went and checked and was able to get me what I needed from the back. Laziness has no place in customer service and it's a shame Imbibe employs people who embody that.
Imbibe on a Saturday night is a great time! We ordered yummy pizza and had cool live jazz playing really elevating the space. I definitely recommend this place for a cute chill date night and if you are in the mood for pizza and drinks. This wine and spirits store not only carries an amazing and well-priced assortment of beers and wine but they surprised me by making a tasty thin crust Margherita and pepperoni pizza. Ordering at the cash register was quick, selecting from the menu was easy, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating. I'll be back for sure!

If you don't buy your wine here, its because you either live too far away, or you just haven't been there to see how great it is. As a place to hang out? Its not for me. It is for CPAs and realtors and other boring professionals. Those people will love hanging out there and networking or whatever. But as a place to buy wine? It is the best in Bakersfield. It doesn't matter if your budget is $12 or hundreds of dollars- you will have more options than you could ever want. The staff is super helpful and if you set up an account they can track what you buy. Love that bottle you got a month ago but forgot the name? They can help, or recommend things that are similar. Plus you earn points when you buy, which can be redeemed for wine from their automatic wine dispensers- they have many to choose from. The staff always takes the time to be incredibly helpful. I make it a point to try and sneak in without being greeted, but it is nearly impossible. I hope they are well compensated because I feel better served there than anywhere else in town, and it isn't even close. They also have a great selection of beers and the pizza is fantastic. One of the top 10 local Bakersfield businesses.
