The best Mexican food, friendly and the best service

This place has the best Mexican food in all of Bakersfield!!! We love their food!! My youngest son loves the fajitas. My oldest son has the chicken tacos. My husband has enchiladas or a tostada. I have chile rellano and asada taco. Everything we’ve had to eat here is delicious!!! Lupita and Betty are the best!!!

Whenever I come to this place, I'll feel like I'm actually in a real Mexican restaurant or a location in b. Southern california where i feel like i'm important, i'm a regular here in for the most part. This is the only Mexican establishment in all of southern California, which I can eat. They're refried beans in rice period I have a word palette when it comes to beans and rice so yeah not everyone can make beans that I wood consume. We always seem to go oh on taco Tuesday. Yeah, the prices or really comparable, with every place that we go to or have went to in the last several years. I always get the hard chicken taco combo meal. 3 hard chicken, tacos, beans and rice. This place never disappoints they're chile relleno, it seems ro be hand made and authentic flavors, their burritos are great sized and are very good. But the stand out the reason we continue to come. It's because of Betty. She's amazing. She literally remembers our orders.
No matter how special the order , Betty never gets them wrong period not that the other servers in the restaurant arent as good, I think Betty is one step above. I wouldn't recommend getting your food to go because when it's cold, it will not be the same quality and the portions seemed to be slightly smaller, nothing that I could finish but still slightly smaller. Overall, L & B will be the place i will continue to go to for the next several years or until I am likely to locate someone with better beans and rice,. So give them a try and be nice to the servers.

Ordered chicken fajita, looks like they gave me old food , looks like a left over. After waiting 30 minutes. Will never come back . This is not good

I have been here a couple of times. I’ve had a chile verde burrito that was delicious. Also I’ve had the menudo. Fire!!!!! Definitely a new go to spot. Service is excellent!

The food was bland, the service was slow, and I asked for one of my choices on my plate of an Enchilada and I got a tasteless all ground beef Enchilada with no cheese on top nor inside it! Then the ground beef tasted weird! Not going back! My Aunts Tacos were awful the chicken was tasteless. She couldn't even eat hers!

While in the city of Bakersfield you have to come try this authentic Mexican restaurant. The Birria tacos are a must, including the Chile verde with pork. The natural drinks are also a must. I’m definitely coming here again.

First time here. The service is amazing. Not overpriced at all. They were very busy, but made time to ask every table at least three times if they needed anything. I had pozole, wife had steak ranchero. Both were best in town!! I’m not kidding.

The Michelada came with carrots, celery, and lemon. Very good. A must try.

The service and the atmosphere was decent. But in sorry the food was disgusting. The first bite my husband and I looked at each other thinking the same. The meat asada and pastor had 0 flavor, it felt like it had been fried over and over. The Aguas were good but man the food ?. Not coming back, sorry.
