I’m vegan and they had a great selection, excellent prices, and the taste was perfect.

Exactly what happened!! I walked in and took a good look at all the goodies and upon a closer look there behind the glass right next to the donuts were 2 cockroaches!!!!!!!! I was sooooo grossed out and that was it so just a disclosure look very carefully at the food when you get it

Tried the new breakfast sandwich this morning and its incredible. Highly recommend. And the very helpful girl was right that the salsa has fantastic flavor and paired perfectly.

Best place for vegan goodies in town! Doughnuts, bolios, conchas, 'n' more! For three doughnuts, it was less than $5 including tip. There was a deal during their last hour where it was 50% off. Idk if they're still doing it

TONS of vegan stuff: cakes, pan dulce, cookies, donuts! We went at 10am and the donuts were a lil dry (old?) so 1 star off that. Otherwise great!

Overall, would give 4.4 to 4.5 but yelp does not allow partial stars. So rounding up. Food: got three conchas and overall they where good. They were not stale by any means but I would have liked a little softer. But they had good flavor and a good level of sweetness. Location: the location is a little hidden but if you use google maps you should be able to find it. The inside was a little dark but clean overall. Service: like most Mexican bakeries it is self serve. You grab the bread yourself. They were stocked with most varieties of bread. The employee at the front I interacted with was super friendly. Price: price was about $1.50 per bread. So not cheap, but not crazy. The bread was a good size which make the $1.50 doable.

Was getting gas across the street when I saw there was a panaderia across the street. Plenty of parking in the shared lot of the shopping center. The decorations in the front make it easy to find. The inside is small but the glass displays were full of bread. I got 8 pieces of pan dulce and 2 ham and cheese croissants and it was $19.00.I was surprised to see pan muerto since that's typically seasonal. So far I've only had the ham and cheese croissant which was excellent. Buttery, flakey, soft and a good amount of filling. I had some of the pan muerto and it had the nice tender texture and slight orange flavor. So far so good but so far best Mexican bread so far on the southwest side.

It has changed owners and it shows, the bread is fresher

So many different sweets to try. This is my new place for Pan Dulce, they also have donuts and ice cream.

Not impressed. Music was so loud inside that the cashier couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear her. I ordered three bollillos cream cheese, jalapeños, Chorizo and ham and cheese. They were not fresh and had hardly anything inside. Got some donuts as well. Took one bite out of the first one, it was hard and old. Threw it all away. Will not go back.

This bakery is now called El Camino in case anyone else has a hard time finding it. Same location just different name. They didn't have any ice cream and a few of the desserts when we went there. Parking is always difficult to find in this plaza.

Love their conchas. Very fresh. They open at 5am so I gotta have them with the morning coffee.

Something old is made new and better! Bakersfield has its own Willy Wonka, and this is one of his new reinventions. Vegan options and non-vegan all in one location.
