Honestly the best cake I've maybe ever had. Grabbed an assortment of goodies here yesterday and it made for a great car snack on the drive up the state. Delicious pastries and cakes and cookies. You'll find none better. All the classics and some variations

I've tried several Mexican bread around Bakersfield and by far this is the best tasting bread in town. A lot of selection when you are able to find bread. They tend to run out fast and I would suggest to go early to actually have way more options.

CA SB 478 honest pricing laws requires that when a business displays a price, that price must include all mandatory fees or charges. This place is a violation of CA state laws. It does not display prices at all. I strongly believe they charge what they want at the counter. I asked the cashier and she played dumb and gave the dumbest excuse to why they don’t display prices of each loaf of bread. By the way they had a bunch of flies around the bread. That was disgusting 🤢 I will be calling the health department on this place.

Very bad customer service. The lady at the register spent the whole time yapping with a coworker. I tried to ask a question about a pastry item and the she treated me like I was an idiot for asking about the name of something when they had not labeled their items. Don't recommend.

The ladies that work there are soo rude they have no customer care I’ve gone there twice because the first time I thought maybe it was a bad day but no went back completely different girl same thing I asked her did they have bolillos very rudely she took a deep breath and got annoyed with my question and answered yes we do like if like if my question offended her. I asked because some place don’t have it only in the mornings plus they pan dulce is dry has no topping they’re very stingy with they toppings the pan is very small price. I love supporting small businesses but not when people are rude. Will never come again. I’m very sure the good reviews are from the bakery owners because they are not a good bakery

This is located across the street from Where planet fitness used to be on White Lane. It's a tiny place. There's always people coming and going and the items are always fresh. In my opinion they have the best Mexican sweets of any bakery I've been to in Kern. When I am craving something crispy and sweet I will pass 10 other bakeries to come to this one. It's always the same woman behind the counter so I assume she owns it. I've never seen her smile nor even speak, but I don't go to chit chat... I go to buy the best rum raisin bread pudding sticky squares ( I'm clue as to what it's really called) and crispy flaky orejas plus a multitude of other cookies and rolls. The parking lot is cramped. If you cannot find parking, it's worth it to park at the gas station across the street and walk over. When you walk in you grab a tray and a pair of tongs. Put everything on your tray, take it to the counter. Put the tongs in the bucket and she puts all your items in a paper bag. She does not individually wrap it. She just throws it all in the bag. I do not care. It is all worth it, Her poker face, the lack of tray liners, the lack of individual wrapping. Throw it at me sister. I'm going to eat half of it in the car before I make it home.

Parking: If you can't find parking You can always park at the gas station and walk across the street. Worth it.
