This is located across the street from Where planet fitness used to be on White Lane. It's a tiny place. There's always people coming and going and the items are always fresh. In my opinion they have the best Mexican sweets of any bakery I've been to in Kern. When I am craving something crispy and sweet I will pass 10 other bakeries to come to this one. It's always the same woman behind the counter so I assume she owns it. I've never seen her smile...
I've always enjoyed this local panaderia. They have some pretty good pan dulce, and I still think that it's quite good. However, I once went during the summer of 2024 and there were flies everywhere flying all over the bread. I'm guessing the owners of the store left the door wide open on purpose because of how hot it was, but this obviously lead to flies being everywhere. Used to be a good bakery, now every time I go the cashier looks mad, there’s never conchas or cuernitos, ojitos , or payasitos, there’s always muffins, crunchy bread, will have to look for another bakery this one is not it anymore.
