Great staff, customer service, food, pricing was a wee high but you get what you pay for here. Service was fast. Food was great. And you’re not bombarded every 3 minutes when you’re trying to chew. Great place.

After driving by this place so many times, I finally came in to order a menudo to go. I was asked if I wanted the Pata. I said no Pata. There was a gentleman waiting for his order to go as well. I sat next to him. The lady workers were working but they looked so unhappy. The place was hot, there was one little fan blowing into the dining area. There was a man and 2 kids eating at the counter area and 2 families in the dining area. Not to busy for a Sunday morning. After waiting about 20 minutes , I look up and I'm being asked if I had been helped by a man who I am assuming is the cook because he came from the kitchen area. I said yes, I ordered a menudo to go. He also asked the man waiting next to me. He said that he ordered a menudo with everything. So the worker looked around on the counter and was matching receipts with food orders. The lady workers were all gone and bot present. He matched my receipt to my food and gave it to me but the other man who had been waiting had not received his food yet. After I received my menudo, it was plain just tripe .. no hominy with little condiments. This is not the way I am used to or have I ever ate my menudo. I have been to alot of places in BAKERSFIELD although I have to say that I was so curious to know about this place, curious to taste the food and see what the weekends were like there. Weekends are a great time to get out and explore the city and taste the different foods being served at different restaurants. After visiting this place and getting the service that I received, I will pass. Not recommending you eat here. Menudo was costly as well. This place charges you $1.00 to use a card. So my almost $17.00 menudo was not pleasing at all. If the prices are going to be so high at least offer great service.

Called to ask if they accepted payments by card and was asked to explain 3 times and then hung up on. Worst customer service but I guess if your not speaking in Spanish then they don't understand you
