Los Hermanos Restaurant

Had the nacho fries with steak. I was halfway through eating my food when I started getting nauseous and then throwing up. I've eaten here a couple times but this time Los hermanos did me dirty. Terrible staff they probably messed with my food.

I’ve had many great experiences beforehand with this restaurant from the all their other locations for years. This includes the one on Union, Rosedale, and even the one that closed down located inside the Town and Country village shopping center. I usually order the habanero tacos which the tortilla of the taco has always come crunchy. Crunchy to the point that the tacos can stand their own on the plate. I received my order and the tacos were pretty soggy. I went ahead and let the waitress know that these tacos are usually more crunchier. She proceeded to take them back to the cook and an additional 10 minutes later she sent another worker to bring us out our food. To my surprise the tacos were the exact same. The waiter was trying to play more into the fantasy that the tacos had been put back on the grill and that the plate was hot. He came serving us one of the plates with a restaurant plate mitt and the other without disproving the point that the plates were not hot when we had been told otherwise. To my even bigger surprise AGAIN the plate was indeed not hot and the tacos were the exact same. I feel as those additional 10 minutes were waited in vain as my order did not change. The restaurant was obviously not busy so I am also unaware on why it took 10 minutes.

I've been told many things over the years and oh boy the food here is terrible. I ordered a Mex-Burrito and boy the burrito was dry, the internals were dry like th chicken it was a sloppy burrito. I couldn't finish it honestly despite I was hungry and away from my home at the time with my son. He enjoyed his food for lunch but me no I will never eat at this place again. Taco bell is better than this IMO I never had a problem with them and that's saying something. This place is last resort when it comes to Mexican food. The quality needs to improve i am sure I am not the only one that has said this about the quality of the food.

Great authentic Mexican food!

Great tortas de asada, their fries are the best! Have also had their camarones rancheros are delicious. Not to mention Adriana is super friendly and welcoming. Always look forward to the food and service!

I usually order from here everyday on doordash. My order is and has always been the same for the last 17yrs; crispy chicken taco. I ask for extra cheese and they add it for about. 50 cents. I've never had an issue with them. 4/23/25 I order 4 tacos with extra charge (same order) just 2 tacos extra and I'm charged 6.50. They now tell me cheese is 1.50 for 1 taco extra lol. Ok. I go for that. 1.50 × 4 is NOT 6.50. I spoke with them when it happened and was told to call bk for a manager. I called back and the manager told me she's the manager but now I need to call bk again for a manager. She then acted like she barely spoke English so that she didn't have to take accountability. I've been asking for my refund to no avail. Again! 1.50 × 4 is NOT 6.50. Nor have they ever charged me 6.50 for extra cheese. They're never on the same accord. They're all over the place with what is and what isn't. I'll take my issue up with doordash. But look at ur receipt! They will over charge u and act like they didn't

1st place we found in Bakersfield, that it's worth coming back.The young girl that helped us was great she was nice and very helpful. The only downside is the bathroom smells horrible, had to cover my face with a napkins because it was such a horrible smell that I was gagging ? so instead I'll be doing takeout. Something's wrong they have to fix that.

Love love love Los Hermanos! 0ne of only 2 left in town. These dishes have that homemade flavor. The little salsa bar is made fresh everyday. One of my fave restaurants.

“15-20 mins it’ll be done” is what I was told, I get there 25 mins later thinking my food would be ready, nope they didn’t even started on it. Meanwhile 10 other people made their orders, most of them were big orders too and they got served or their meals made while I stood there for an extra 25 minutes. Long story short don’t expect your food to be ready on time and expect to stand around
