First time here, definitely will come back again. Very friendly host and so attentive. Good food and not bad on prices. Also, a nice family vibe.

The waitress told me I couldn't bring my water bottle in. So I left. First breakfast place I've been to that they don't allow water bottles. On the other hand, I should probably thank her because I ended up at the Old River Grill and everything was excellent!

Glad to see another breakfast lunch here on the East side of bakersfield great breakfast. I keep coming back but sometimes could be a wait due to place sometimes being full.

Disgusting!! the chicken sandwich I got was RAW. And the waitress has the audacity to act like she was doing me a favor by taking it off the tab.

Save your money, go up to spencers. The waitress wouldn't let my daughter have her eggs runny because she thought the child could get salmonella.

Went in to Maggie's today for breakfast as i had been wanting a good breakfast without having to cook myself, and boy was I impressed from the moment I walked in staff was so friendly, location was super cute felt like walking into a little coffee shop out in the country somewhere. Ordered the Bakersfield sunrise breakfast and when I say I was full that is an understatement. Got 3 eggs, hash browns, ham, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and toast all for less than eating at other places here in town. Even my 3 year old ate from my plate and we still had left overs for later. Keep up the good work will definitely be back to try more food

They were not busy when we walked in maybe 4 tables at the most. All booths were dirty, took a long time for anyone to greet you when we walked in, took their time to clean and seat us. Our server that we had seemed very confused, was slow and when we asked about an item she said I dont know and shrugged her shoulders.

Maggie's Sunrise Cafe was an all around lovely brunch spot. Our server was very kind, accommodating, and personable. I ordered the Veggie Omelet with country potatoes and sourdough bread. Everything tasted great and delicious! I just wish the potatoes were crispier, otherwise, they had a nice flavor. My boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles with country potatoes. This order comes with avocados, but they had ran out that day. Our server suggested to replace it with toast, so he got sourdough. The sourdough actually tasted perfect with the chilaquiles sauce! I would be happy to come back and try their other dishes.

I'm afraid to post a review because it's one of our favorite weekend breakfast spots and we don't want it to get too busy! Food is generous and well priced. Everything we have tried has been great.
