Definitely a bit pricier than I remembered! Paid about $18 for a burger, onion rings, and a drink. Service was quick, and the food was made to order. Onion rings lacked seasoning but crispy and fresh. Burger was just okay, not the best or the worst. Both ladies inside were friendly and gave great customer service.

I am sorry to give such a low rating but I went in to go get a burger meal only to find out is $14.95! For a hamburger fries and a coke? You got to be kidding me. 🫡your prices have tripled in the past 2 years. So with the increase of the minimum wage it looks like you're putting the cost back onto the consumer. I was looking at the menu posted here on Google maps by the business and you need to update your prices. That is very misleading. I turned around and walked back out. That probably explains why there was nobody in there but 1 table occupied with two people.

Big Thanks to The Malt Shop for taking my order over the phone, I was dealing with a Hangry 9 year old because he wanted a burger but spend my(great aunt)money,even though he had more money than I did at the time. I guess he learned a few things.????Bless his lil heart????
Kid-friendliness: My nephew was able to go inside the building by himself, and pay for his own food, with his own money for the first time. BTW he scarfed his food down before we made it home, burped, and said “That was a great burger Nanna.??? Bless his lil heart ?

I have been going here since I was a kid. The quality here has gone downhill. Unseasoned fries, thin sandwiches, high prices. I also did not get the ranch I paid for in my bag. Honestly, better off going to a nice restaurant. At least you'll get a meal worth your money. I have given this place the benefit of the doubt with each sub par meal I've received but it keeps getting worse.

Food is great as usual. They seemed understaffed. It took a good while for our burger and pastrami with fries. Also the price seems to have increased even more than most places. 2 combos with fountain drinks were almost $39. (I did ask for avocado on my pastrami, which was a $2 upcharge and there was maybe one whole slice of avocado in the sandwich. )

I've been eating here since the early 2000s. They have never failed me! The food is good (considering the circumstances), and the shakes and malts are on point. The service is responsive and have a genuineness about them.
The Malt Shop on the corner of Auburn and Fairfax was my go-to spot growing up. Their pastrami sandwiches were simply delicious! I make it a point to stop by every now and then, and each time I'm reminded of how great the service is too.
