Not as good as the menu suggest. It is more neuvo than latin. It is small and very loud. The food is fresh but it means you need to be patient for your food to come. The cost is deceptive because all the side are separate and expensive.

We were expecting Caribbean food but I guess it’s Latin 🤷🏼♀️
This Caribbean man and his babies were disappointed
Came in for drinks. They do not have a full bar only beer and wine. They had a few vegetarian options I will try in the future. Cheese empanadas. Some mushroom sautéed thing. Tapas share style plates. Bar tender/ server was so nice

Bomb one of the best restaurants in Bakersfield💕
Finally was able to stop and explore this beauty. It’s always caught my eye just never had time to dedicate to stopping by. The food was delicious I had the boneless pork chop, I found it to be very tasteful. I did not know it was a GF approved restaurant. Saw his signature stamp of approval on the wall. I would recommend for anyone who plans on enjoying some night time fun and would like to have a good meal prior to it.
Cute family restaurant with some great tasting food. I recommend the jerk chicken.
This restaurant was very quaint. When we walked in it felt like we were in a small restaurant in Cuba. The staff are so friendly and helpful.
What to say about the food. It was amazing. My daughter had a creamy shrimp dish, yummy and we dipped our bread in it. The beef empanada was out of this world and the dipping was such a complement to the empanada. Then we finished with plantains. If you like Cuban this is an amazing experience. Also it's been on Diners, Drive-in, Dives.
Small and unique restaurant, tucked in small, but nice downtown neighborhood. Food was quite unique, the Jerk chicken was food, needed more sides with it though, the mussels were great and salmon with mango salsa was quite unique. Small menu for a small place, but does the trick for a small bite, though the menu could use a little more flavour.

Tasty food, served as tapas with some variety. Enjoyed the Ropa Viejas and the mushrooms and plantains. Would happily go back for more!

My husband and I love love love this place. The only reason why I give the atmosphere a 3 stars versus 4 is just because it is really small and it can make it feel cramped when it's really busy. The food is delicious everything we have been recommended to try we have enjoyed the taste. Definitely worth going to check out!
