Food was old. Chicken was more like Jerky. Food was fairly priced.

They laughed at me when I asked if I could do more beef then broccoli on my combo B 🤦🏽‍♂️, rude I won’t be coming back here

Food is always delicious!! They go above and beyond, I usually call my orders in advance since we order so much and they always have it right on and even write my name on my extra sauce plate. Love it!! Thanks for your dedication and delicious food!!

I am suffering horrible food poisoning after eating here yesterday. I was ALSO OVERCHARGED. I was charged and extra plate. I had only gotten 4 but was charged for 5. Overall, go somewhere else! This place is not what it use to be.

Their food is delicious, and they serve very large portions. The price is good. I couldn't wait to get my order because it felt like a sauna in there!

I've been going here since I was a kid. They have the best chow mein out there. And really good prices. BUT the bad things are they dont offer the pork ribs anymore which was my favorite. The BBQ pork is good though, i wish theyd use less red color. I'm rating it 4 stars because it's really affordable, amazing chow mein, but some items aren't offered and the sanitation is questionable. I found metal strings assimingly from a can, in my chow mein. Thankfully I noticed it or that would cause serious internal damage. Please be more careful and attentive. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Every time I go it's good food. I started with the bbq pork. Then tried Chow mein and a different chicken dish asking with mushroom chicken. Was good. Whenever I'm in the area I eat here. There's not too many good food places here in bakersfield. The 3 times I've been one been happily satisfied.

My family and have been coming here for years, we have missed a few months lately. Tonight we visited the restaurant and unfortunately we are so disappointed in the service. A young girl working the counter was extremely rude and was constantly belittling the gentleman working with her rolling her eyes and at one point told a customer infront of us " do you see it? No then I don't have it". Many other customers were as appalled as we were tonight that a place we love had such horrible service this evening. Food is great as always but with service like this I doubt we will visit again

I love Mandarin for their prices and servings. Their customer service, "while fine" could use a little work. They're not very upbeat, zero smiles, no uniforms, they just look like some girls hanging out in the store that just so happen to work there. Most of their food is packed with flavor. The only items I would work on is the Chow Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, and ESPECIALLY the Teriyaki chicken. I've never been to a place that has bad teriyaki chicken, like how? PLEASE fix it! Lol. Other than that I love this spot. Which is why I felt like giving some constructive criticism.

Peel them shrimp and cut the heads off! My first time ordering and I thought my salt and pepper shrimp was gonna come peeled and hard fried. Yeah it didn't lol. Lesson learned. Kung pao chicken was really good and I like the chow mein. I'll def try other items on another visit.

Mandarine's food is absolutely delicious and affordable for all the family plus a nice dine in area and always clean. I really give this place a 10 plus.
