I had the fish ceviche...... I was really disappointed......and it was expensive. I will say that service was good, I'll give them that. If anyone from the restaurant is reading this, if I asked you for a recommendation, what would it be? I am not a picky eater and willing to try anything. If one of your dishes could win me back? What would it be? I will go back to try it. :)

First time trying out this Express version of Mariscos Las Islitas…I have to say im happy to have found this express food truck much closer to this side of town offering the same delicious and fresh food as the original brick and mortar locations I had come to enjoy but had not been able to frequent as much due to proximity. Whether your a first time customer or like me a long timer; Come try out this express food truck version which gives you the same full flavor as the sit down restaurant. The additional perk being the quiet and fresh atmosphere of the outdoor seating. I AM HAPPY TO HAVE DISCOVERED and MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ARE THE GOBERNADOR (SHRIMP + CHEESE) TACOS! I Always Order and Devour them as they are super YUMMY and am yet to try out there other fish and various fresh food items; which I bet are just as delicious!

Great service! I love the way they treated us, the waiter was very attentive, had a really good experience, come visit and see for yourself!

Molcajetes are great. Guacamole is made fresh. Salsa is authentic. Language barrier didn’t stop anything. Suggestions google translate app. Not even slightly upscale. Low key! Warm temp in restaurant.

I spend a lot of time in Mexico. I even guest chef at a couple of places in southern Baja. I have a love of authentic Mexican seafood. It is very hard to find in the US and even harder in Bakersfield! Mariscos Las Islitas comes as close to the real deal as I have found. Over the years I've eaten here many times. I think I've only had 1 item that I didn't like and they took care of it. Very cool place that you could drop right in Baja and out would stand up against anyone. Check it out.
