Cute little place with friendly service and tasty Mexican food. My wife and I stopped by on a Friday night and were seated right away by a friendly staff member. We ordered a lime margarita for me and a smoked Caramel Old Fashioned for her. Both were excellent and not shortpoured. My wife is Celiac and so we asked for gluten free options, which the waitress gladly went to ask the kitchen staff. They made a delicious order of Enchildaa Suiza for my wife that she said was tasty. I had the Mas Bella combo (Sope Carne Asada, Chile Verde chimichanga and Chile Relleno). All were very flavorful and I had leftovers to enjoy again for lunch the next day. They are a little difficult to find, tucked into a corner of a business area (next to a medical office) but the service and great flavor are worth the effort!

Tucked-Away Treasure Worth Finding!

We stumbled across Mas Bella Restaurant & Lounge while exploring a little corner of a shopping mall near the Adventist medical building and Sequoia Sandwich Company -- it's hidden between the two, so keep your eyes peeled!

Walking in, we were greeted with a spacious and clean dining area, with good vibes all around. The bar and dining sections are separate, which we liked. We came in on a weekday right when they opened, and the host/waiter (working solo!) was super friendly and very attentive -- props to him for holding it down!

Chips and salsa hit the table right away -- the chips were warm and crisp, and the salsa was chunky, flavorful, and just the right kind of zesty. Off to a good start!

We ordered the Mas Bella burrito with chicken and the build-your-own combo with two chicken tacos. Both came with rice and beans, and both were delicious. The tacos were simple -- just lettuce and cheese, no onion or cilantro -- but the tortillas were extra fresh and soft, and that made a big difference. The burrito was smothered in cheesy, saucy goodness -- absolutely tasty, though it only had one bell pepper and the tiniest sliver of onion (a bit shy on the veggies, but we forgive them because the flavor delivered!).

My beans came toasted; my husband's did not. So, a tiny inconsistency, but the rice was flavorful, and overall, the food was freshly made and satisfying.

We also ordered two Cadillac Margaritas, and let me tell you -- they did not skimp on the pour! Strong, smooth, and generous with the shot.

Prices were very reasonable -- our total came out just over $67, which felt like a solid deal for everything we got. The service wasn't super fast, but definitely not slow either -- it's clear everything is made fresh, and we appreciated that.

All in all, we were happy with our visit and would definitely come back. Mas Bella may be tucked away, but it's worth the find!

I decided to give this restaurant one more chance but it disappointed me again. The Restaurant was half empty and it took over 30 minutes to get the food out. Chips were pale and stale. When the food finally came out, some of it was lukewarm and some of it was cold. 2 of the bean servings were okay but one serving was extremely liquidity. One of the tacos that were ordered dripped a steady stream of orange oil for about 7 second after it was lifted from the plate.

The servers were attentive.

First time eating/ordering from this place.
My wife and I both got an upset stomach immediately after eating their posole verde; it had an unusual smell but I thought it was just the ingredients used and the chicken was a bit tough.
Was excited and hoping for a great experience but unfortunately, food quality is non existent given our experience.

Food was great , I ordered the New York steak, the only reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is because of the drinks.

Our party ordered different mixed drinks, some of them were way too salty and didn’t have flavor at all. I ordered a michelada , definitely not the same flavor as other restaurants, this was way too salty and had a sea food taste. Maybe the mixer that they used was a different kind.

Other than that the service was great.

Finally had the chance to try out Mas Bella and was pleasantly surprised by the cute decorations! We're vegetarian and the waiter kindly let us know that the beans are NOT vegetarian friendly (we got salad as a substitute with our enchilada which was great!). I hope vegetarian friendly beans are added sometime in the future. The salsa that came with the chips were SO good and had a slight kick of spice to it. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere, overall we enjoyed dining here 😊
