Mas Bella has lovely esthetics but I feel, sadly, that’s all this place offers. The chips they give you while you wait are cold, oily, and unsalted. The salas was okay in flavor with more emphasis on the spice level. We ordered the sizzling fajitas and the enchilada taco plate. Both plates were hot and pretty bland. My fajitas were over salted, making up for the lack of salt on the chips. The taco and enchilada were just okay and mostly bland. We also order a strawberry sunset and a Mexican greyhound for drinks. The greyhound is served in an aptly themed cup and has a wonderful smoke flavor. With that said, it was more on the sweet side, almost too sweet and I also felt like it was lacking in alcohol. The same could be said for the strawberry sunset, overly sweet with little alcohol. As far as the wait staff goes, it’s kind of awkward. Just about everyone came up to us to provide service and it made it hard to distinguish who was our server. We placed a drink order with one and then another came by and asked if we wanted anything. Shortly after that another waiter came by and asked if we were ready to order drinks. We informed them that we had already ordered drinks and they asked us with who and seemed to be slightly annoyed. This was kind of the theme the entire night. Also note they have different menus for lunch and dinner. So make sure if you’re looking at their menu to decide ahead of time that you’re picking for the meal time you’ll be dining at.Overall for the price of the food and drinks, it’s just okay and lacks flavors. Nothing wowed us or even enticed us to want to go back.

Wife and I visited on a Wednesday evening for dinner.Place is super nice and clean, Service was great shout-out to Rebecca our server. We both ordered a spicy margarita (not on the menu) and it was well balance and tasty. We had tacos de papas as an appetizer they where crispy and taste freshly fried, they were very good. For dinner we ordered Steak Ranchero, needed more seasoning.Quesabirria taco was good over all we would comeback for sure.On Wednesday they have a Mariachi group playing and we really enjoy their music and stayed long enough to enjoy a second margarita while they played their music. Now about the Mariachi, we like mariachi music so we enjoyed it, but as we sat there we could see that other guests left somewhat quicker or on a hurried once Mariachi started playing, so not sure how much benefit to the business does Mariachi brings.Over-all we are coming back.

Very disappointed especially after all the good reviews we decided to give it a try, service was super slow & okay we weren't really getting checked on, the food was bland the only thing that had flavor was the pickled onion. What disappointed me was that we felt more of an inconvenience while we saw others getting serviced while our server was never around. We also ordered bottomless mimosas, we only got one within the hour, until we had to keep reminding them of we can have more after 20 mins, and got our last few 10 mins before we left. I understand if they were short staffed but the place wasn't busy at all nor it's an excuse for poor service. We didn't want to ask for our money back because it was so bad & felt like such an inconvenience that we rather leave. Also the first time in a restaurant where I felt like I shouldn't have tipped even after getting the worst service. The only reason it has 2 stars because the place is clean, cute decor & nice restrooms. But never will recommend to others or give it another try especially for the price we spent. Do better please I wouldn't want others to go through what we did & will like contact with the owner of this establishment :(

Decided to try something new. We walked in, not busy. Hostess looks around and walks off, after a few seconds she turns and looks at us, I guess we were supposed to follow her. Chips and salsa were horrible. Chips were soggy and salsa taste like it came out of a bottle. Steak Fajitas were made of a cheap meat. Cocktails were mediocre at best. Never saw our waiter again until it was time to pay. There are way better options in Bakersfield less than 2 miles away from here.

Okay let me just start with Mas Bella is my New Favorite Mexican Restaurant full stop! My neighbor invited me to join her and family on March 5th for their Taco Tuesday night out for which I was grateful as it is a sad day for me ( a Remembrance day after losing my best friend and partner) thank you again for invite! I wasn't sure at first but then decided it would be good to get out and be with people so I went and I was not disappointed. Mas Bella is small but comfortable clean and charming the outdoor area looked like a place I'll visit once the weather warms up a bit but the inside reminded my of home warm cozy clean and pretty not over the top just nice. We were a party if 5 and were seated immediately at a large table in the back comfortable booth along the wall with chairs across with great views. Our waitress I didn't get her name but she was the best informative and efficient bringing our free homemade chips and great salsa plus a pitcher of ice cold water on the table quickly she also kept refills coming. She was perfect not intrusive but quietly bringing refills as needed. She took our order after we decided everyone but me ordered one of their fajita dishes and I ordered the combination only I asked if I could have 2 crispy chicken tacos instead of one taco and enchilada she said no problem. You can get either pot beans or refried of course I wanted refried! Amazing beans never had instead of the normal they serve Peruvian White and now they are my new favorite beans! I am not a rice person but their rice was best I have ever had not heavy but the tacos OMG best ever and I've been eating chicken tacos for 60 years! They make their own tortillas both flour and corn and the shell was light not a trace of grease; the chicken was tender and perfectly done moist without being to wet. Perfect amount of lettuce and 2 kinds of salsa on the side. I was in heaven with a Pacifico Beer. My friends didn't leave anything on their plates and while I would love to try I would have to share a fajita plate just do much food for me. I told my out of town friend about my heavenly meal and we have agreed next time she visits we will go and spilt a fajita plate and then maybe we could try the Yucca fries! On Tuesdays you can order Ala carte street tacos pretty inexpensive but I make those I wanted crispy prices seemed a tad high for Bako but everything was fresh and I'm willing to pay a bit more for quality and that we got in spades! If you are looking for a place where you can converse without yelling and enjoy excellence in food, service and vive you can't go wrong with Mas Bella! Sorry we all inhaled our food so no pictures but I promise next time to get some but if you are like me and love chicken tacos get them your belly will thank you!

Overall good experience.the bar area is nice and private which is kind of cool. The service was good and the food was good. They had really good guacamole. And there is one specialty drink with guava that I would highly recommend. It was not too sweet but tasted fruity and good. Was a nice refreshing drink.

New restaurant, very cozy the food and drinks was great and the customer service. Woman love bathroom pics, you would think that the bathroom was set up just as nice as the restaurant that was the only thing. Lol But definitely a great vibe. And perfect for a date night.

We had a spectacular dinner here last night. Service was amazing and the house margaritas are wonderful. I had the street tacos and the carnitas were so moist and delicious. Our table had fajitas, enchiladas and rellenos and everyone said their dish was amazing. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot!

I came here tonight (2/26) with some friends to celebrate them recently getting married. First impression was the ambiance and decor were beautiful. I really liked the interior. We were immediately greeted and sat. The service from start to finish was attentive and awesome. The food though! The Camarones A La Diabla! Incredible flavor and spice! They are not shy with the spice and I appreciated that a lot. Far too often ordering this dish at other places have I received a far too mild experience. Not here! Best refried beans though I've ever had. Wished I got an extra order. Churros a la mode was also incredible! The salted caramel ice cream along with the crunchy, crispy exterior of the churros made for an amazing finish to the meal. My only complaint isn't about the food or service or ambiance. It's that this place deserves and should have far more business than what I saw. I'm definitely going to be back soon and I'll definitely be sharing this place with friends and family. Thank you for the great dining experience!
