We just said "Cancel the order" and walked out of the restaurant when they quoted over $6 for 3 large cokes and went to Vallarta and got 3 2-liter bottles of Pepsi and Mountain Dew for $5.00 for 3. we also decided to buy some stuff to make our own hamburgers before heading out to the river. Never again will we consider McDonalds after being LIED to on local and national TV by this "cheap" (NOT CHEAP) wanna-bee "hamburger joint"

Terrible prices and far-lower quality in their food and drinks nowadays. Back in the 1970s and 1980s McDonalds was the place to go for great cheap deals and great food but this day and age THAT IS ALL A THING OF THE PAST now this and other fast food is known for very low-quality food, small portions and UNACCEPTABLE very high outrageous prices

A TV commercial CURRENTLY making it's rounds on various TV channels (including local Bakersfield TV Channels 23; 29 and 17) - one aired the evening of July, 3, 2025 during 5:00pm news time - boldly state ANY SIZE fountain soda is $.98 (98 cents) at ALL McDonalds locations. At around 8pm July 4 just before the fireworks show at the near-by Park-At-Riverwalk I visited this mcDonalds location to take advantage of these "cheap 98 cent" sodas only to be told by the jerks that the so-called "real price" was over $2.00 and this 98 cent drink special as advertised was all fake and only for the purpose to show as "bait" to get people into the McDonalds lacation so they will be charged the INCORRECT price of over $2.00. I immediately reported this to Bakersfield Code Enforcement and will be repoerting it to several other agencies such as the Better Business Bureau as this is price-gouging and is highly ILLEGAL on both State and Federal levels.

Bad service both managers are busy talking that they got my orders wrong they didn’t really pay attention to what they were doing the place is messy no one cleans it up and everyone is busy talking to clean the place! Restrooms are disgusting !

waited half an hour to be brought two cheeseburgers and a drink. i placed a mobile order as i was coming during my lunch break. got the notification that they would hand it to me shortly, cool. waited at curbside for 20 minutes, came inside and was ignored by workers for another 10 minutes. worker finally acknowledged me and told me that the system “messed up” and handed me my order that was sitting there for god knows how long. no “sorry” or anything. spent my entire lunch break waiting on it

Apparently you have to pay .25cents for a sauce now, I asked if they were all in the bag and she said yes. I asked for 2 additional but I didn’t have any change on me so I couldn’t pay for them - turns out my sauce wasn’t in the bag. Also the girl was completely rude and smiling about it all.

The whole time I was here no one came out to wipe the tables. And employees on their phones. And people coming in from the drive thru because of a meal error. And when I need to remind them of a missing item it took a while to get a hold of someone to flag someone down. When they were just chatting around and an employee on his phone.

For only a coffee to place the order while some of the crew doing nothing but stroling back and forth,why nobody even asks what can I do for you? The very common question is asked from customer.the ordering kiosk is not familiar to some customers how to place the order.I think the manager doesn't care about this anyway.
