I had a very negative experience at this McDonald’s on Heath Rd and Stockdale Hwy this morning (03/14/2025) at 8:03am. I walked in, and though I tried to order using a kiosk, which is pushed hard at this location, I was unable to order my breakfast the way that I wanted it since the kiosk didn’t offer the specifics of how I wanted my meal. Therefore, I walked up to the counter and waited for someone to notice me. The manager did. She walked up, and as I started telling her that I was having trouble ordering my meal, she literally walked away from me. I then did the same and walked out of the restaurant. It’s not a good sign that a customer drove all the way over to McDonald’s, walked in, tried to order, had trouble, and then was dismissed by the manager on duty. These workers somehow in spite of themselves can’t even try to act like they want to retain McDonald’s customers.

Despite using the app to submit the order so all info would be correct, they still managed to forget the toy to the happy meal. Toy selection is indeed part of the order in the app.

This is a great McDonald’s. It’s the only McDonald’s there is in Taft. The food is good and the service is fast and friendly. I gave five stars because they had been skipping on fries but lately they’ve been really good. Of course the food is getting real expensive as it is everywhere I can’t take away stars for that. So overall, yeah a great McDonald’s.

Had such amazing service from Leah! She is seriously the best. So kind and courteous and had a smile the entire time. It was fast service and the food was incredible. It is rare to find such a hard worker with great customer service so Leah stood out to me!! Thanks again!! 😊

Food is okay! I come here often however, they never have sweet tea and when they” do “it’s never sweet tea it just watered down junk! Last 2 times I went the fries were old and cold and like they had been sitting out forever. I wish this McDonalds would just figure it out! It has been open long enough now that they should have everything figured out.
I have visited this location several times over the span of a few months at different time frames and every single time their so called sweet tea is always the same. Overly watered down and never sweet. There is nothing sweet about their tea at all. It’s only this location in Bakersfield so far as I’ve been to many and have never tasted tea ever so disgusting. It looks like pale yellow water even in the clear cup they fill it in when it should be brown. They need to fix that asap.

Foods okay! We come here often since it’s so close but I’ve gotten Burnt burgers and they never have sweet tea It sucks!!! Especially in this heat a nice cold sweet tea would be delicious! I’ve come different times of day and they never have it.

They definitely need a visit from the Public Health Department. My son ordered the chicken sandwich and when he took a bite of it, it was all one hard piece of chicken. Definitely old chicken. It made everyone who was sitting at the table gag. Took the sandwich back to the store, total lack of concern from manager. No service recovery. Also, they do not answer the phone and it goes straight to a full mailbox. Avoid this store.
