Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt- Bakersfield

Fabulous self-serving yogurt and frozen treat restaurant! There are so many flavors and toppings to choose from. It's impossible not to find some combination of elements that you'll enjoy. The service could have been more welcoming: the clerk seemed annoyed and impatient when taking orders and there wasn't a clear direction to follow in terms of self-service options of preparing the food. If there were directions or serving suggestions provided, combined with friendlier service, this place would earn a higher rating. Over all the experience was enjoyable and I will definitely return for future visits.

It's ok.... The cups seem to bit over priced for my liking, but what isn't these days...lol... The half gallons in the freeze seem to be the way to go!!!

I used to love coming but lately each time i go, I always see an employee using her phone I don’t know her name but she has pink hair. Last time I rated this place I gave them a 4 but the girl is really unprofessional. Good froyo tho.

The sugar-free chocolate is so good. There is a huge selection of toppings to choose from. I like the chocolate shell syrup, makes it a little crunchy on top!

Kid-friendliness: They have special tables for kids, crayons and coloring pages, as well an encouragement wall to write positive sayings and slogans on the chalk board!

Its really really good yogurt. Very expensive but then again you put whatever you want and then they weight the cup, and that's how your charged. I had me and another person. So for 2 yogurts it was over $22!! I have to say they were a nice size though. Not to mention soooooo good!! Just happened to accidentally find this place. I've never heard of it before. I will be taking my kids back when I have the extra $$$ to spend cuz I know they will pile as much stuff on there that they can. Lol The only issue I had was when I first walked in, it did have a musty moldy smell that almost made me walk right back out. I almost lost my appetite. I just got the yogurt and left. They need to handle that weird musty moldy smell. That alone will turn people away. I almost left without ordering. Glad I did though. Just get that smell under control. Spiffy the place up a little bit more and you should be good. Counter help( some older guy) could of been a little nicer and attentive when we walked in. We stood there for a while before being acknowledged. I didn't even know what I was doing or how it worked so I finally had to ask. The guy was a little rude. So they could work on that as well.

Kid-friendliness: Its very kid friendly!! Kids will love it because they hand you a cup and off you go. You can pick from any of the yogurts or try a bit of all of them. They have a topping bar so the kids will love to add what they want and as much as they can fit into that cup. No kid will ever say they don't like this place. I guarantee it. Adults will like as well.

They got some of the best flavors in town for yogurt. They have a good rewards program that gives you yogurt for free!!Their inside seats are very supportive & comfortable.However isn’t always the cleanest the topping section isn’t always the cleanest sometimes there’s a bunch of crumbs on the counter top or lids to the toppings will be left open etc.
