This is the only restaurant in Bakersfield that serves authentic machaca beef (shredded beef jerky) with the perfect back home taste that I would recommend. Same for the corn tamales. The hand made tortillas taste like home made. It is a place to keep going back. Bakersfield is so used to tasteless Mexican restaurants that when a good home made like food is not appreciated or people don't know about this nice place.
I was headed home to Los Angeles when I stop by this place and Bakersfield. Fish Tacos were excellent and the Micheladas were tasty! I would highly recommend this to anybody in the area. I wish I would have explored more of their menu but everything is good and the staff is nice
