Went to Old River Grill for breakfast. So nice to be greeted so kindly when we arrived. The place is neat, clean and inviting. Every plate that was ordered was so good. We could see when delivered that it was fresh and hot, bacon crisp, potatoes just right, coffee hot and fresh. Everyone fully enjoyed the food and the great service from all of the staff. If you are looking for a nice spot for a delicious breakfast consider this new location of an old favorite.

We came to eat breakfast with our family and Margo was our waitress. She was amazing making sure we had everything we needed. I'm visiting from Arizona and would definitely be back when I come visit my family in bakersfield. It's a clean and friendly environment and Margo made it a pleasant experience.

Margo was our server, today, she was amazing. She recommended the Chile Verde and I was not disappointed. We are from out of town visiting family and were very well taken care of by the whole staff. Went with my wife and kids today And we were able to eat some amazing food and had very very excellent service. The server we had was very personable and extremely kind. The food was clean excellently prepared and very very delicious. The food was delicious and came out hot,they start you off with some fluffy beignets that were great.Having been to the other locations I knew what to expect as far as food quality and service. I would have given them 5 stars but I believe they're a bit understaffed the service was okay I had to ask for my coffee after ordering it and waiting about 10 mins or so,it also took over 30 mins to get our food after ordering. Seeing as it just opened and it was a Sunday morning I'm not gonna ago to hard on them they just definitely need to work out the bugs. As for the food it was delicious if not better than the other locations. The pancakes were fluffy and moist , the hash browns cooked to perfection and the biscuit and gravy was delicious. The chicken fried steak lacked a bit of seasoning but it was nothing a little salt couldn't fix. Overall it was a nice experience and look forward to returning in the near future.
