I usually really enjoy your food, which is why this was disappointing. I ordered chicken and waffles through Grubhub, but the order arrived without syrup or butter. Because I don’t have syrup at home, the waffles were too dry to eat, so I wasn’t able to eat them at all. I also ordered a side of hash browns, which was missing.

I rely on delivery and had been up for four hours waiting so my sister and I could enjoy breakfast together. Her food was great, but I ended up disappointed. Forgetting syrup with waffles really impacts the entire meal even when you’re missing the side too, especially for customers who can’t leave home and rely on delivery. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration.

3.8/5 for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was pretty dry but at least it tasted fresh. Waffles were decent as well. The service was really good though.

Took an hour to seat us and another hour to get our food. Don't even bother

The atmosphere is so chic. I love the Bakersfield mural. It shows all the places I went to through the years as a Bakersfield native. The classic mimosa was superb. It's fun to see all the choices they offer. Our waitress was helpful, funny, and friendly, Fernanda. The food is yummy too.

Just had a great experience at Mimosa cafe. Fernanda gave excellent service and the food was delicious!!

Cute breakfast and lunch spot off the beaten path. Great service and pleasant surroundings and good food at reasonable prices. They make good coffee too! I had the bacon and egg breakfast and the bacon was nice thick cut not the thin pitiful stuff you usually get and 4 slices too. Recommended.

Mimosa has become one of our go-to restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The biggest challenge is which of the delicious dishes we want each time! Oink & Eggs is always solid (their bacon is divine!), and the prime rib melt is a winner any time of day. Our servers are always delightful and prompt (Fernanda was great today)! And, of course, the mimosas are delightful! Definitely recommend!

The food was was delicious, the best I have ever had. The service was amazing and so friendly. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an amazing experience. I will definitely be going back 😃👍🏼

I really enjoy the atmosphere and the food is delicious prices are doable!!! And the mimosas are delish !!! Very nice spot to have a girl's day, date, and even take kids... Great spot my waitress was super sweet ..

I had a very disappointing experience at Mimosa Café. this has happened before at my previous visit as well. From the moment we arrived, my friends and I were completely ignored by the staff. We sat waiting without acknowledgment, and I also noticed another guest walk out after experiencing the same treatment.

It left us with the impression that if you don’t “fit a certain look,” you won’t receive service here. That’s not just poor customer service it’s unacceptable.

I truly hope management addresses this and trains their staff to treat all guests with equal respect and attention. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment.
