O'Hennings is truly a hidden gem. I tend to go either Tuesday or Wednesday nights. The bartender, Sheila, is the sweetest person. The drinks were poured perfectly, and she got everyone at the bar to play games. Due to its location, I was sort of hesitant to go in, but once you step inside, it's very inviting and calm. The parking lot is well lit, and theres a Taco truck right outside with their own seating area, or you can take your food into the bar. The only downside is that it's kind of dated inside.

I always come specifically for the bartender Sheila Winchester! She is the most attentive, sweetest, cutest bartender you are going to find in Bakersfield. They have cornhole, AMI, and a patio for chillen. Drinks are cheap here… Like the cheapest. This bar is better than The Highland Cafe, Longbranch and the train bar if you are searching for a cool spot. It’s old so don’t expect too much.
A+ spot. Coming from LA it's nice to find a chill relaxed and welcoming bar. Thanks to Sheila I come to this bar. I was going to the trap but it got all dellian there so I started coming here thanks to Sheila. She's sweet and kicks out the rif raf. Plus the drinks are BOMB! and they have a jukebox and the prices are best in town. Don't go anywhere else!
