Papa Johns Pizza

My kids really enjoy their pizza since moving here. There wasn't one in Oxnard. Anyway, I just wanted to take the time to give my appreciation for the staff. There was a mistake on my order. They made me feel heard. Was so nice about it. And made me a new one right away and delivered it at no extra charge. Best customer service. And the food was excellent. It was a papadilla.

I placed an order through the website for pickup. The food was delicious and the store was clean. My favorite thing about Papa John's is the pepper in the box. I could eat like 10 of those with my pizza.

My boyfriend and I placed a takeaway order from Papa John's and were told it would be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived at 5:50 PM, but after waiting 22 minutes with no update, my boyfriend went inside to check on the order. He was told it would be out shortly, but after more time passed, it became clear they had given our pizza to someone else — though they tried to cover it up rather than being honest about the mistake.

We ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for a new pizza to be made. My boyfriend politely asked if they could offer complimentary breadsticks for the inconvenience, but they completely ignored his request and just handed him the pizza without so much as an apology.

We regret giving them a tip in advance. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service was incredibly disappointing. We won’t be coming back.

They used Doordash for delivery. The order was sent to a different address and the store was no help over the phone.

Can't beat the $8.99 Large 1 topping deal.
It's been a while since I had Papa Johns.
Taste a little different then I remember, but overall still a great pizza, especially for the price. The cashier and cook made every request I made happen and I was very happy :)

Ordered the SHAQ-A-RONI 2 separate times. First one was the first time ever eating at pap John's it was amazing. Ordered one 2 days ago ot was cold, hardly any cheese or sauce. It tasted nasty and so little cheese. Like they gave us some old pizza no one picked up. It was ready so fast like too fast.

A DOOR DASH DRIVER WILL PICK UP YOUR ORDER AND SIT BEHIND THE ALBERTSONS DOWN THE STREET FROM YOUR HOUSE WITH YOUR ORDER FOR 20 MINUTES BEFORE ACTUALLY DELIVERING. WATCHED THE LOCATION OF THE DRIVER ON PAPA JOHN'S.COM WEBSITE! Order was delivered 30 minutes after it left the store, we live less than 4 miles away.
