We were traveling to Las Vegas from San Francisco so we stopped halfway point in Bakersfield for the night. So we found this little restaurant near our hotel. We had a take away of dinuguan, sisig, munggo, and sinigang to eat in our room. I have to say that it was the most delicious Filipino take out we have ever had. One of the rare - and probably ONLY - Philippine restaurant in Bakersfield that has Chicken Skin Chicharon - that I know of. Always call ahead if that's one of your reasons to go in (aside from the rest of the menu that has good food) as their chicken skin chicharon is almost always out.
I been craving filipino lumpia for 3 yrs. I never know this place existed. Well I found it today and stopped in and ordered LUMPIA. OMG, they were soooooooo good, just like I remembered. For $10 bucks u get a lot. I didn't count them but I wanna say 20 maybe. The sweet n sour sauce was excellent. There's 2 other things I'm gonna have to get: the chicken adobo and hot pandilla..
