Bad customer service, I called to let them know our order was wrong and the owner told us what do you want me to do about it when I ask for a refund or to make it right he hung up on us.

Our family has been a loyal customer of Pho 88 for over a year, but our recent experience was so disappointing that I can no longer recommend this place. We decided to visit for dinner, hoping for the same enjoyable experience we used to have, but instead, we were met with a frustrating and lackadaisical service that ultimately cost them our patronage.
It took over 20 minutes just to get our drinks, which was the first sign that the evening was not going to go well. We ordered four dishes, and after nearly 30 minutes, we only received three. Even after two separate reminders to our waiter, we were met with indifference. When the third reminder was made, the waiter casually approached our table with the check in hand, almost as if to brush off our concerns. It was only then that he realized the kung pao dish we ordered had never arrived. Instead of offering an apology or suggesting a solution, he merely shrugged and said, “Yeah, been trying to catch up.”
This lack of accountability and care was shocking. There was no effort to rectify the situation or even offer a simple apology for the mishap. As a result, my wife was left without dinner while I fumbled through my own meal. For anyone who is married, you know that’s a recipe for a rough evening.

My family and I have been coming here for many years so this review is long overdue! This is a locally owned restaurant and we support big time! Pho is always on point! Clean environment and the staff and owner know customer service which is why I’ve recommended countless people to this amazing spot for pho! Excited to see that tendon is back on the menu!! Will continue to frequent this restaurant with family and friends. Thank you Pho 88 for high quality pho 🍲

The spicy steak phos the best. They actually have a combo right now that comes with a drink. Spring roll and pho of your choice. I always recommend the spicy steak bowl with extra steak!

This place was within walking distance of my hotel, so I had to check them out. Don't hesitate if you're in the area and want some delicious pho. Lemon is server in place of lime, but it still tastes okay.
I ordered #4 and was very pleased with the broth and the amount of ingredients! Delicious! The gyoza appetizer is tasty as well.
I tried the coffee, but probably won't order it next time. It wasn't bad, but it was mixed, on ice, and had a side of white sugar when it was brought out. I like to stir the dropped coffee over the sweetened condensed milk then pour it myself. No biggie, just a preference.

Definitely one of the two best Pho Soup joints in southern and central California. Next best is Pho 999 North Hollywood. But the server here at 88 deserves most high tips. And the anti-smile dude clearing the dishes, he cool too. Perfect portions, kitchen a steaming, and why am I still sweating. So good.
