Excellent food. Better than all the other Mediterranean places in Bakersfield!

The lady comes off as a little rude, but she is just that way I think because of the language barrier. She offered to add the dressing on the side, and we paid about $35 for two large Greek chicken salads. I will update on food quality later.

Update: the salad was horrible it was super salty and the vinegar taste was so strong. The only good thing was the bread bcs even the chicken tasted like shreks cheeks.

I ordered online the shawerma plate for lunch. The order was ready as promised and the lady was super nice but the food let me down. The beef was too salty and the portion was small. The plate came with rice which was good and a small salad

This is like having lunch or dinner cooked by your grandparents...

It is quirky, honest and sometimes frustrating due to the wait as all the food is cooked to order. But what i can say is go and enjoy it - it is a husband and wife team who know how to cook really amazing food for real people.

Ask for the lentil soup - it isn't on the menu but it is often available.

This is one the gems of Bakersfield that is overlooked as it is in a strip mall and the inside can be off-putting.

I'd highly recommend a visit!

Absolutely delicious and flavorful. The service can be slow but they are very kind. Worth going again.

Tonight we were refused seating because of my service animal. Despite explaining that it was a service dog, the manager insisted they couldn't accommodate us indoors. This discriminatory treatment ruined our evening plans.

The lady that helped me was not welcoming and was rude. When I paid with my debit card, their system was slow (which didn’t bother me) and she asked me if my card was ok, implying I may have insufficient funds. Not professional at all. I won’t be eating there again. Disappointing because I saw they had a 4.5 star rating. The food was average at best.

Decent place, but the food is a joke and the value is horrible. To go pita and salad was 20 bucks for nothing. Literally just a small amount if meat in a wrap with nothing else. A Greek salad with only lettuce. I'm angry about the rip off for something you can buy elsewhere with better quality at half the price.

The old lady serving us was rude and unfriendly, made us feel like she didn’t want us there. Another couple came in and she welcomed them with friendliness but with us it was the opposite. We placed our order and she asked us why we both wanted the same thing (?) she seemed annoyed. We left very dissatisfied, won’t return.
