I ordered a personal pizza box through doordash and I specifically ordered a pizza with buffalo sauce and someone put BBQ sauce on it which was so disgusting I gagged. No luck with getting a refund through doordash but the incompetence and inability to read an order shows.

Ordered the $2 personal pizza special at 10:15 in the morning for pick up at 11:15. Got there, waited for over an hour just to get to the front of the line and be told I order was canceled because they ran out of ingredients for the personal pizzas. They need to be more organized and have more workers when they have these promotions.

I ordered a carry-out pizza online from Pizza Hut’s “official” website; I selected the location at 11000 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA. When I went to pick it up, the store did not exist!! Apparently, the location relocated, but Pizza Hut’s IT department didn’t update their website. I can’t blame this location for that, but I can blame them for their incompetence!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
I checked my email and my pizza order was sent to another location at 5221 B, Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA. I called to check on my order; Desiree answered the phone, she stated, there was no order for the name or phone number I gave her. (My husband’s name and number) I told Desiree, I received an email from Pizza Hut stating my order was at that location. You need to train Desiree how to look up orders by using a name, a phone number, and/or an email address! Apparently, she doesn’t have the sense to think out of the box!!🤷🏻♀️
I paid for my order online; I asked her, who do I contact to get a refund? She said, she didn’t know! You need to inform Desiree, if an order is not picked up within an hour, the order will be canceled and the charges to a debit or credit card will be reversed!!
I drove to the Pizza Hut location at 8110 Rosedale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA. I explained my situation to Alyssa, she was very sympathetic to my issue and stepped right in the assist me. (I placed an order with Alyssa and waited for it while she investigated where my first order was.) Alyssa went above and beyond her job description; she contacted the location at 5221 B Stockdale Hwy to investigate if I had an order there.
Apparently, my order was under my name, it wasn’t under my husband’s name which I initially set up when I placed the order. But Desiree didn’t have the sense to correlate the order I was inquiring about with the email I told her I received for pickup at her location. (That’s generation X for ya, 99% of them are useless!!!)
Alyssa assured me the order would be canceled after an hour if the order wasn’t picked up and a refund to my debit card would be issued. (She canceled my order at the 5221 Stockdale Hwy location.) Alyssa was so helpful, sweet, and saved our dinner!!! Thank you, sweetie!!!👏🏻😊
In the future, I will be ordering from the Rosedale Hwy location!!!

My order was incorrect and they do not answer the store phone. The person that can take the order only seem to be able to transfer to the store or send the manager a message/email for them to contact me.
Listen up! Let me start by saying that having onions on a pizza is absolutely unacceptable. On the 17th of September, 2024. Unfortunately, I mistakenly selected onions, pepperoni, and instead of pinapple while ordering online. When my pizza arrived, I wasted no time in contacting Pizza Hut. I owned up to the fact that my order was accurate, but I did not intend to include onions. I inquired with Juan if there was any way to swap out the pizzas with onions, even offering to return them in person. Unfortunately, the manager, Juan, informed me that there was nothing he could do to assist. The lesson here is to be vigilant when placing online orders and checking the ingredients, to prevent wasting $80 on pizzas that no one wants to eat. Just remember, Juan from Pizza Hut on Stockdale won't be able to come to your rescue.
