First off, employees are great, love the decor, takes me back to a round table style place. But... Yeah crust is burnt. Not Napoletana style, but burnt. It's edible and ok but I would rather a thin crust cooked properly. Seems like a recurring issue based on reviews. I think a different oven type would be better for their product, a conveyor oven or watching the product more closely. Says 6 grated cheeses but it's hard to tell... I saw them putting mono color cubes...
There was kids running around unsupervised. I had to physically go find a parent and complain about their toddler child that kept poking my childs butt. Family friendly yes but families should be held responsible for their children at all time. Chicken was a bit overfried and dry. And pizza was a bit lacking. I was really hoping to love it but was so disappointed. Which also we saw a roach on the wall while we were ordering food. Should have left then.
Best thin crust anywhere! A Bakersfield institution. Great place for large groups. Selection of beer and wine. Large screen tvs and video games.
