My wife ordered chicken an it was good. I had a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was terrible. What I got was a hamburger bun with a formed chicken patty without any of the traditional Pollo Campero taste. It tasted like frozen chicken paties that you heat in the microwave. To that, they added a hot sauce that was liquid and dripping everywhere. The resulting sandwich flavor was hot with none of the distinctive Campero taste. Honestly, it was terrible. I know that I will never order that again. I have had the spicy chicken sandwich in Guatemala and it was very good. Unfortunately, this one was terrible. I'll stick with the spicy chicken sandwick from KFC.

Everything was delicious—the grilled breast was juicy with great flavor, and the fried leg had that perfect crispy crunch Pollo Campero is known for. The Campero rice was seasoned well and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, really satisfying and definitely worth ordering again.”

I'm glad they open a location here on Bakersfield. The staff are really friendly specially Damaris. She was very attentive, friendly and kind. She suggested me good recommendations like the sweet platains, the yucca fries, the family chicken meal and also the Horchata as a drink and she wasn't wrong it was delicious. Will be coming back. Thanks for the amazing service Damaris!

I loved Pollo Campero since I lived in Florida. I'm so glad they opened this location in Bakersfield. Very good food and clean location. The service is also great and all the people that work there are very nice to the customers. The grilled thighs are my favorite🤤😋
