I’ve heard good things about this place and how it beats saltys and boy does it. Staff were very friendly and patient with me being a new customer and made ordering simple. Food was very filling and delicious. Try to get there early since some meats can be sold out. Overall would recommend and one of my fave lunch spots. I recommend the raspberry chipotle sauce for your brisket.

Hubby and I are so glad we found this hidden gem! With less than 10 tables we were able to sit in a booth and enjoy our wonderful food. I got the pit beef sandwich with fried okra and hubby got the brisket sandwich. So tasty and yummy. We will be back.

I tried Bubba’s for the first time a few weeks ago and I thought it was very delicious although I wasn’t too happy about how small the portions are for how expensive it is there but with that said yes I do plan on going

Overall we enjoyed our experience here. Pork ribs could of been a bit more fall off the bone but I've had a lot worse at other places. Very friendly service but it was busy so everything felt rushed. Full house inside and outside everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Definitely would recommend this place good BBQ I saw lots of families with their children

Delicious food and good portions, for three people we ended up paying about $60. Staff was informative and nice, place was nice and although our table wasn’t clean they did clean it at request. I’d definitely recommend this place.

We went to the one off Coffee St. in the Chevron gas station. Delicious! Had the Pastrami Sammich with coleslaw. The pastrami was fall off the bone tender (if pastrami had a bone) and moist. Had a taste of the Mac n Cheese. Creamy and cheesy. Perfection. Also had the garlic Tots. They were so crispy! The garlic flavor wasn't too garlicky, very tasty. Just yummy. Cannot wait to go back.

I really am sad to write this,, we had PC&B before and loved loved it,,but the last 2x I've ordered the brisket it's literally like pure salt with smoke flavor..I can't eat it,,and with the prices I'd take it back but most of the time they are out of other options...I'm sorry, again the fact that we keep trying means we really do love this place

I feel like the tri-tip was a small portion for the price, but it was amazing. The only bad, I have about this place. Everything was fantastic. The mac & cheese was definitely homemade we got the tater tots and garlic. They were hot and crispy. The coleslaw was coleslaw. We got the brisket and the chicken. Also the chicken might’ve been a little dry, but the flavor was good and I could eat the skin all day. I definitely try each sauce because they were all very good. But the meat does not need it and it’s on flavor. It was well smoked. Definitely not a place I expected in a gas station. Not sure if I’ll refine myself in Bakersfield again, but if I do, I’ll be here. Actually, the staff were pretty great too. They really make sure we have everything we need several times. No matter how good the food is, the staff can always make it better, and they definitely were trying. I recommend this place to people who know barbecue. P.S. You cannot buy a pork chop here.
Well what can I not say about this place? I'm from TEXAS but lived in Bako for 30+ yes. No one in this town knows what real BBQ is. Not that Salty place or the Champ place. But PC&B's is award winning hands down the best on the West Coast. There isn't a bad item on the menu. Brisket is on point. Grab the chili beans. AMAZING!! And the staff. . .wow. All around friendly and attentive staff. They all seem to enjoy their job and their clientele. Repeat customer for life! Whatever you guys are doing, DON'T CHANGE A THING!!

Located inside Sully's and a convenient short walk from the adjacent Hyatt. Stopped in for dinner: Brisket sandwich with coleslaw and beans for my husband; hot links sandwich and tots for me. Both meals were great! Another couple commented that their dinner (ribs) was also great! Good food, unique location. Will dine here again, the next time we are in Bakersfield.

Great spot to bring your family here to split a meal! You can't go wrong with any of their more meat family meal options! The menu can be overwhelming but the staff was so helpful in recommending the right thing for us. The meat was juicy and tasty. I wish I lived closer so I could come everyday!
