I am grateful and thankful to discover Pyrenees French Bakery store front is located so close to me! I appreciate sourdough. Pyrenees is the BEST EVER!
Everyone has always been so pleasant! The bread is fresh, the store is clean, and what about fresh baked French bread is there to complain about!? We LOVE Pyrenees!
This place makes bread and that is it. If you want a white bread or a sourdough not a bad place. But it's very tough to justify a trip here.

Update: They now take card! So thankful to be able to enjoy this local business and have our traditional sourdough bread that has been loved for 4 generations now. We go weekly to get our sour and french loaf with an occasional round or roll order.
If you're in Bakersfield this is a must get!

Amazing! Only downside is it's cash or check only so be prepared.
Went in to get some French rolls, they had super fresh product right there,ready to go. Great prices and great products...
I love this bakery it's just in a bad part of town I wish they would clean it up around there. Highly recommend this bakery

Driving from Orange County to Brentwood CA. Made stop in Bakersfield to go to Pyrenees French bakery. Looking forward to having some fresh french bread. I bought 4 baggetts and got back on the road. I was very dissatisfied with the bread, it wasn't fresh, it tasted as if was stale.

Kid-friendliness: I prefer the soft sourdough rolls.
