Driving from Orange County to Brentwood CA. Made stop in Bakersfield to go to Pyrenees French bakery. Looking forward to having some fresh french bread. I bought 4 baggetts and got back on the road. I was very dissatisfied with the bread, it wasn't fresh, it tasted as if was stale.

As a traveler, avoid this place. There is no place to park a rig, and this is probably the worst part of town!! Also, a bakery should be open by 6am.

Delicious, sliced, sweet french bread. Reasonably priced
The very best. I buy suitcases full when I travel to Bakersfield. I freeze the loaves when I get home and thawed, they're just as good as fresh. Love the sweet French the most.
