The food is mediocre and taste is nothing to talk about. Not surprised the restaurant is filing for bankruptcy. I have not visited the restaurant in years because of the prices and the bad taste.

My only complaint really is the clam chowder is just potato soup. It lacks very much when it comes to the clams.
After a long day of medical appointments in Bakersfield, it was a real treat to come to Red Lobster, & be treated so well as tired as we were! Great food great service and the staff came and saying happy birthday for my friend and neighbor who drove me!

Best Red Lobster in Bakersfield. Many of the 'high efficiency' lights flicker though. The really should fix these.3/13/24 - Lights are still flickering on the east side of the restaurant.
So today I went in with my wife and it took the staff members waitress to see us. May be about 30 minutes to 40 minutes while there was tons of tables that were open and it was just me and my wife second of all when they finally brought her food after an hour, I specifically asked for hot sauce. She never brought hot sauce 20 minutes later she came and asked again. What do you need? Look me in the eyes and I specifically told her bring me the hot sauce. I’m almost done with my food 20 minutes more she comes right back again and asked the same question. What did you need anything else I said again hot sauce she only brought me the drink after 50 more minutes the third drink that I ordered. I mean come on get it together red lobster this is ridiculous and then to top it off , my bill is almost $200 so I won’t even get a bottle of hot sauce come on this will be is the last time I will visit red lobster. I will take my money elsewhere because the service stinks especially in the customer service area, beginning with the waiters and waitresses .
