Great place to meet very nice people. Never felt more at home. Thank You All. I see a complaint about the bar people. ( I came out here from Fort Wayne, In. Spent about a month in Bakersfield, I will have to say that the Bar Tenders at the Red Pepper are some of the best & most friendly people that I have ever had serve me.) Bruno.
On first look this restaurant seemed like a fine dining place. We were seated in a booth that was small and uncomfortable. Other people in our party was ok with staying here. Service was just ok. Had a couple of issues that seemed to disturb the service person , but it was taken care of. The food was good.
Traveling through Bakersfield and saw this place on Trip Advisor Excellent- my Mushroom and Spinach Enchiladas were excellent Tortilla Soup- Excellent Service- barely OK. Keep in mind, when you have local government setting minimum wage you’re going to be paying for it. Owner simply raises menu prices and cuts labor costs. Gotta love what they’ve done to California!!
