Got orange chicken and it was not very good. The orange sauce was not good and even the fortune cookies were old/stale. Best part of the meal was the steamed rice.

The food is amazing. And the prices we paid for all the food we got was awesome. I expected our bill to be double what we paid. The staff was very friendly. They stay busy so parking can be an issue. Their food is worth it.

Hands-down the best price for not only the quantity, quality & quickness of their food and service but their hospitality is amazingly awesome. To think we drove out to Bakersfield to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and every restaurant we went to said they had no tables available. So, we looked online and called uptrend Rice Bowl who to our surprise did have an available table. All I can say is, Thank God they did, because if it weren't for that we would've never discovered this great place!!! Would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE & EVERYONE!!!

By far my favorite Chinese food restaurant everything is delicious fresh and affordable the dine in environment is beautiful dim lighting and quiet atmosphere with nice service! With lots of room for large groups and gatherings! Their egg flower soup is the best I’ve had!

We just went first time (we moved here about a yr ago). We thought everything was super bland. I've never had kung pao with absolutely NO heat. Nothing had flavor. We didn't finish our food and didn't take it home. I've never done that in my life.

The food was great. My mom and I used to go there many years ago. Rice Bowl was her favorite place to eat in Bakersfield. My mom has been gone 43 years now but every time I go I think of her. The food and people are great.

I was seated promptly and the server took my drink order promptly. I ordered the lemon chicken and was exstatic to see the order arrive. It was prob 3 large chicken breasts with very light breading😁. If you want meat with your dinner this is the place for you. If you want breading with very little chicken this is not the place for you. Don't worry, I will eat your portion. Ive already eaten one of the breasts. Yum!
