Check your order, specially if you order on line, very closely. I placed on online order that cost over $100. They got one order wrong, completely omitted another order. When I called & asked for the one they forgot, a woman who identified herself as Paula, said she would refund the items. A week later and I have yet to receive the refund.Tasty enough food ruined by poor customer service.

I usually like coming to this place, but the past few times haven't been very satisfactory. There was only one worker and she got both of my acai bowls wrong. Not only did she get my bowls wrong but she was talking to her friend (another customer) the whole time while I was placing my order. Then she stopped to talk to her friend for at least 10 minutes before she began to make my bowls. (I was the only other person in there). It was ridiculous and I will be going to Brazilian from now on.

A local favorite! Fast and friendly service, healthy options, and delicious! I love their reward system, so make sure you sign up for it when you visit. I have already earned about 6 free poke bowls! I usually get the spicy poke bowl for lunch. They take phone orders, so call it in before hand if you're in a rush.

Came here when there were no other customers in the business. The boy working the front was cold and distant, and just looked at us deadpan when we walked in. He said nothing, no greeting, no “hi, how can I help you?” And once we were ready to order he just gave small flat responses and make the whole atmosphere awkward. Not to mention that the prices are kind of ridiculous, especially the smoothies that they announced had a unexplained price hike of $1.50 via a piece of printer paper taped on the menu. Food was ok, but I probably won’t come back.Parking: About 3 spots specifically for the business. Otherwise you have to compete for parking with the surrounding businesses, including a VERY busy Dewars.
As far as acai bowls, Rio and Cafe Tori hold the gold medal. Since I have recently moved across town and away from my regular spot (Cafe Tori) I have been visiting Rio & am very enamored. The acai here tastes right on point. Its sweet and smooth and the toppings are always fantastically fresh. I often add more and more toppings and cannot recommend this enough- the more the merrier, for real. Hemp seeds and bee pollen are my newest favorite toppings ..ooo! also goji berries! I have ordered from another spot recently which only made the quality, taste, and value of Rio stand out as vastly superior. Don't get me wrong, these bowls aren't exactly cheap, but they are packed full of goodness for your body and you can count on the fact that Rio won't skimp on your ordered ingredients here at this wonderful establishment. Mmmmmmmmm! Just thinking about the Açaí bowls here at Rio make my mouth water I love how many options of bowls you can get! It's great for a post-workout snack, in the bowl you can also get protein powder which I recommend! The service is great! They make the bowls right in front of you and the sitting area is quite nice and chill. (The Açaí base that they use is rarely not available so they will use a papaya base instead) Overall I will continue to be a customer as long as they are in business!

I can't say enough good things about this place and the quality of food items they serve. I used to drive from Delano at least once a week to get the best açaí bowl in Kern county. COVID hit and I had to give up one of my favorite indulgences. I excitedly made my way over three times in the past couple of weeks. I always get the paleo, it has tons of good stuff, but the almond butter mixed with the banana is my favorite. Staff is on top of their game, fast and welcoming. There are lots of places to sit and some cool photos on the wall. Their reward program is awesome! I earned enough "points," to get my last bowl for 0.50. If you like açaí and haven't tried this place! You are missing out!

I use to come and grab an Acai bowl at least once a week but I haven't in awhile so today I decided to surprise my daughter and take her for one! They're a bit more pricey than they were last year but isn't everything?! These things are absolutely delicious...and just like that we'll be back to weekly visits!
