4 stars because everything is great except for the side salads. This is one of my go-to "nice" restaurants whenever I feel like spoiling myself. Always a good experience, except when I forget how sad those salads are and order one, only to end up disappointed. I would definitely recommend, but maybe opt for the soup instead.
Possibly best Italian food in Bakersfield. Can't go wrong with the pizza. The calzone is bigger than you think, and everything my family and I have tried is delicious so far. The place is a bit run down, but kitchen and customer service were impeccable.
